Everything about this light is great, especially that my husband isn’t bothered by this light if I want to read in bed. It’s lightweight, easy to put into the position you need and has a large clip that acts like a bookmark, the amber light color is very easy on your eyes, it’s easy to charge and holds a charge for a long time, and the price was great! If you want to take it with you, be careful that you don’t accidentally put it in a position where it can move and turn itself on. I kept the box for travel, but sometimes I would bend it in a way that the power button would be pushed on, and I wouldn’t find out until I went to unpack it and use it.     • Excellent light, solid battery life, cannot say a single bad thing about it
I'm extremely light sensitive so most book lights are too bright for me. This one, however, is perfect on its lowest brightness setting. The color of the light is just right for nighttime reading. The only thing about the light that's not absolutely perfect is my Kindle isn't well suited for it but that's the Kindle, not the light. Despite this, the light is able to clamp pretty well to the corner of the Kindle and works quite well. I wasn't entirely sure I'd like the way the power control is designed to work by squeezing the light. My wife, however, who isn't able to see in the dark as well as I can finds it easier to a handle since she just has to find the end of the light to find the power "switch". That's a pretty clever design feature, IMO. I usually read for several hours a night before falling asleep. I've had the light about a month now and haven't had it run out of charge once. I've only charged it about once a week, too. I do use the lowest light setting so that makes some sense so this may vary for others, of course, but it certainly ought to last for an evening's reading with ease for pretty much anyone. ... show more

I’m obsessed with this little lamp. I’m a full-time undergrad psychology student, so I have to do lots of reading during the day and late into the night as well as stare at my laptop screen. I often find that my eyes are exhausted by the end of the day, which is frustrating when I have more work to do. the amber light from the lamp has made it a lot more comfortable to read through my textbooks, and it’s way easier to read in larger chunks without having to take breaks. the light settings are an added bonus. it clips very sturdily on my books, and it keeps charge for quite a while. It’s also lightweight, bendable, and easy to travel with. I’ve also heard that yellow tinted light can help those with learning disabilities retain information better, and i can now confirm that it does. ... show more

I have bought these for all my boys and I swear they are the best book lights! They don’t get lost because the clamp is large enough to hook onto their beds, The light doesn’t hurt their eyes, And they love that they can move in every way. Love the quality of light - much easier on the eyes during the night. The three brightness levels are a positive feature too. My only complaint is that the on/off/brightness switch makes a loud "click" sound when you adjust the brightness or turn the light on/off, which could disrupt others sleeping nearby. The media could not be loaded. I know my review title may seem excessive—this is a book light, after all—but it’s not. I hardly ever write reviews for things, but my adoration of this little thing is so enormous I felt compelled to share. I bought this book light because I’m a night owl and I like to read at night while my husband is asleep. I wanted something flexible, with decent battery life, adjustible brightness, and ambient light. That last bit was really important to me—I didn’t want any fluorescent blue light hurting my eyes, just something calming and neutral. This thing checks ALL THE BOXES and more. Three settings of brightness depending on your needs with a quick easy clicking function. Hyper-flexible extendor so I can turn it any which way I please. A solid, sturdy clip with rubberized edges so as not to damage your book or scratch your kindle. Super lightweight. Excellent battery life so far: I use it constantly and in one month have only had to charge it twice. And! Gorgeous golden amber light that is so easy on the eyes. I use this thing everywhere now, for everything. I use it to read, of course; I also clip it to my waist when I go for walks in the evenings. I use it when I’m out using my telescope to read my star maps. I call it my antennae. I hardly go anywhere without it. I’m obsessed and so happy I’ll get to enjoy this thing for years to come. If you're someone who likes to read in bed, especially if you're trying to help wind down and get a good night's sleep, get this light. The amber light is incredibly easy on the eyes and an infinitely better option than a white light bulb or anything containing blue light, which can strain your eyes and keep you awake.
