This daybed is exactly what I was looking for - metal frame with middle support and sturdy. The box was quite heavy when it arrived but upon opening it, I was impressed with the packaging of all the parts. Everything was there and easy to unpack. I completed the assembly in about 2 hours by myself (64 yr female). The reason for 4/5 stars is because of the directions. It was difficult to determine what direction and which part went where.

Purchased this bed frame a year ago for our guest bedroom. I have a dream cloud mattress (super thick) on it. It seems very sturdy, my only regret is the size mattress I chose, I wish I would’ve sized down but my guests love the quality. I like that I can mix it up a bit with the beside tables. Will likely purchase this again or something similar for my daughters room when she’s ready to size up! Definitely a good price for the quality. My husband installed it, maybe took an hour?? Overall I am very happy with this product a year in!!!

The bed was easy to put together. The size is perfect for our small guest room, while still allowing a queen size mattress to be used with it. Sturdy and attractive. My tiny little complaint is that the legs on the side will destroy your foot if you run into them. As another reviewer suggested, I cut a piece of pool noodle and it fit on the leg perfectly. Problem solved!

I’ve had this bed for 7 months and think the value is unmatched!! This was not hard to put together, but probably would be easiest with two people. There were a lot of screws when installing the slats, but totally worth the time. It’s incredibly sturdy, and I’ve never heard the metal make a squeaking sound. I have a pillow top mattress, so I didn’t need a box spring. My mattress is just about the same height as the footer, and my standard size pillows do cover most of the headboard. These things don’t bother me, but something to consider, so check the dimensions provided. All in all, super happy with this purchase!

My daughter and I spent 3 long hours putting this bed together. Halfway through the assembly, I was ready to give up and send it back, but we were determined to finish it. The problem we had was that several of the screws would not go all the way in and we had to use a mallot and WD40 to get it past whatever was preventing the screws from going in. We eventually were able to get the screws in and we were completely exhausted. There are also significant gaps on each end of where the slats are and I had to purchase a bunkie board to help support the foam mattress. After all this, we got a sturdy and pretty daybed.
