This is a heavy duty platform bed frame that I bought for my guest room. It's pretty simple to put together, and the instructions are easy to follow. The frame itself is made of metal and feels sturdy enough to support a lot of weight (I think it said something like 3000 lbs in the description, which should be plenty). It doesn't need a box spring either, which saves some money and hassle when setting everything up. The bed frame comes with a few different options for adding a headboard or footboard if you want to customize the look of your room (I went without one myself, but it's nice to have the option). Underneath the bed there's plenty of space for storing stuff too, which is useful since I don't have much storage in my guest room. It's not very fancy or anything, but it does its job well and looks pretty decent (I think I saw a similar one at a hotel once). Overall, this is a solid choice if you need a heavy-duty platform bed frame that's easy to assemble and can support a lot of weight. And hey, no complaints from my guests so far. ... show more

I was impressed with the quality of the bedframe. The instructions were clear. The design was simplistic and practical. All the hex screws went in with no problem. The manufacturer provided with a few extra screws in case you lose one. They provided a heavy duty slat in the middle that you install with hex screws. This significantly stiffens the frame. The bed frame is easy to assemble , 20 inches of clearance under for lots of storage and very sturdy with a 3500 lb load limit , But the thing i did not like was the edges were all squared off and some quite sharp and no matter how many pool noodles put on it i was still stubing my toe. I put this together 7 months pregnant with no issues. All pieces included and instructions are easy to follow. I like the bed skirt option as it helps hide the feet and allows you to graciously store items underneath out of sight. No squeaking from the frame. Bedskirt is wrinkled of course because it was packaged, you could pop it in the dryer for a few minutes for that but I decided I didn’t care enough about that and in time the wrinkles will relax. I just got this in today and put it together tonight. From start to finish was just under 45 minutes, with my only medium level of IKEA-fu. Only six steps to put it together. It includes all hardware, spare fasteners, an allen wrench, and a wrench/spanner. The included tools are naturally cheap with soft metal, but more than adequate to get the job done and torque down pretty good on all the fasteners. There's no creaking or flexing when assembled, and it feels solid. Seems to have no issue at all bearing weight even standing on the bed. For the price of $86, it's a great deal and highly recommended. The 20" version I bought has 18" height from floor to the bottom of the support beam, giving an absolute ton of storage potential, able to fit the majority of storage totes on the market. If I had to put a con on the list, I'd say that they should offer a side skirt as an option for every size. No option was available for the 20". It's not a huge deal, though, as you could likely grab a bedding set that includes one, and make it work. ... show more
