  • Perfect
Style: Tripod Stand Configuration: 1-Pack
Perfect for my projector.

  • Sturdy
Style: Tripod Stand Configuration: 1-Pack
Sturdy and rather durable. It's not super lightweight but that's a good thing in this instance. The tripod stays put. It takes a lot to get it to fall over. Even at maximum height. A good product for a good price.

  • Not the best
Style: Tripod Stand Configuration: 1-Pack
I bought this stand to help hold my mini projector. however, it is not very stable, it turns left and right very easily with just small effort. I'm extra careful when it comes to adjusting the focus of my projector. As I said small movement will make it turn to one side. It does not lock very well.

  • Nice compact Tripod
Style: Tripod Stand Configuration: 1-Pack
Stability - only 3 stars because you must get the length of each leg correct for maximum stability. This Basics Lightweight Mini is better than other compact tripods I've used but still needs a fair amount of "adjusting" to be completely stable. I've used a Gorillapod and they are much more stable because of their "fat" feet. NOT recommended for anything heavier than a webcam. And if you already have your camera, look at the area around the mount. This mini tripod connector has a much wider diameter than others I've tried. If your webcam base/connection isn't perfectly flat (one camera I tried had a recess about the size of a nickel in this are of the base) it won't be a tight fit. ... show more

  • good enough for a set-and-forget setup that you don't have to manipulate too often
Style: Tripod Stand Configuration: 1-Pack
This seemed pretty decent for ten bucks. I'm using it to support a very small and lightweight handheld camcorder. At first when I got it out of the box I thought it was even smaller than it really is. The legs telescope out just like on a real tripod, although there is no special locking mechanism, just friction to hold them in the extended position. I didn't feel super secure about its stability, so I lashed it to another nearby object with a piece of string. It took me a while to figure out how to attach the camera securely to the mount. (1) Lock the ball joint by cranking down hard clockwise on the black semicircular handle. (2) Rotate the entire tripod to screw it into the camera. (3) Screw the silver wheel upward so that it locks in to the bottom surface of the camera with friction. (4) Unlock the ball joint, adjust the camera's orientation, and then lock it again. Pointing the camera is a very fidgety compared to a real tripod, but if you try a few times, eventually it's possible to get it pretty close. I would recommend this for an application like mine where you want to put a webcam in a certain position and then never mess with it again. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to frequently adjust where it's pointed, or if you need it to be stable against insults and vibration without being lashed to something else. ... show more

  • Difficult to tighten top piece
Style: Tripod Stand Configuration: 1-Pack
This tripod is ok. I use it to hold the required webcam to take online proctored tests for my masters program. The piece that attaches to the camera is difficult to tighten to stay in place. It will often flop over and make it difficult for the camera to keep the frame needed. After some practice I can get it back in place faster. ... show more
