  • Functional and handy
Size: 1-Pack
Great little gadget for holding your phone for Zoom calls. Easy to use. Like the fact that the legs are adjustable. The tightening screw for the legs works well. It is lightweight and portable. The rubber tips keeps it in place once you place it down. For the size, it is sturdy. I would recommend the product. Great value for the money. ... show more

  • A Small, Yet Significant Upgrade to My Webcam
Size: 1-Pack
I use an Anker PowerConf C200 webcam for work and based on my monitor setup and their height, resting it along the top edge of either screen was not ideal. However, I have some space between the monitors and place the camera there. The problem is the camera itself does not have a solid base and it's highly prone to movement. This tripod solves that problem. It offers stability, protects the base of the camera from scuffs/scratching, is easy to use, and overall is a cheap upgrade. I've very happy with it and just ordered another one for a Logitech webcam that I also use. ... show more

  • good enough for a set-and-forget setup that you don't have to manipulate too often
Size: 1-Pack
This seemed pretty decent for ten bucks. I'm using it to support a very small and lightweight handheld camcorder. At first when I got it out of the box I thought it was even smaller than it really is. The legs telescope out just like on a real tripod, although there is no special locking mechanism, just friction to hold them in the extended position. I didn't feel super secure about its stability, so I lashed it to another nearby object with a piece of string. It took me a while to figure out how to attach the camera securely to the mount. (1) Lock the ball joint by cranking down hard clockwise on the black semicircular handle. (2) Rotate the entire tripod to screw it into the camera. (3) Screw the silver wheel upward so that it locks in to the bottom surface of the camera with friction. (4) Unlock the ball joint, adjust the camera's orientation, and then lock it again. Pointing the camera is a very fidgety compared to a real tripod, but if you try a few times, eventually it's possible to get it pretty close. I would recommend this for an application like mine where you want to put a webcam in a certain position and then never mess with it again. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to frequently adjust where it's pointed, or if you need it to be stable against insults and vibration without being lashed to something else. ... show more

  • Substandard design
Size: 1-Pack
I use small tripods for video-conversations on my phone and I need them to be portable (small and light) and stable (to use on various surfaces). I got tired of all those plastic ones breaking, so I decided to try this metal one. While it seems like it will be much more durable (I've only had it for a week), it has other shortcomings: * The legs open at a very small angle, thus making it very unstable once the phone is attached to the top, especially in portrait orientation. Even when they are extended (which makes it even taller and inconvenient), it takes a lot of adjustment just to keep is standing on hard, flat surface. * The ball-head tightening mechanism can keep it in place but it is not progressive in effort and, thus, makes it hard to control the tightness. Also, the head of the wingnut is very small, exacerbating this problem. As a result, I often end up not tightening it enough and it tends to tilt and fall upon the slightest touch. Time will tell whether it is as robust as it appears, but it is hard to use and I may just have to keep looking. ... show more

  • Good quality and very compact
Size: 1-Pack
I broke the cheap plastic tripod that my cheap-o projector came with on day one when I dropped it. Bought this as replacement. The tripod is much taller than the original one when fully extended. I will likely be using this as my travel camera tripod for tabletop use. Sturdy, metal but not very heavy. Can’t wait to actually use it. ... show more

  • Lightweight Tripod for Small Cameras and Smartphones
Size: 1-Pack
This Lightweight Mini Tripod from Amazon Basics was a life saver, I had bought this product back in November of 2017 and I am now in 2023, and I honestly think it's worth the money, or at least in my personal opinion. I have used this small yet durable tripod for years and it has not failed me at all. I did eventually buy a (SMARTPHONE HOLDING MECHANISM) (NOT INCLUDED) to screw onto the tripod, which you can buy separately. I have used this tripod to take pictures, either for social media or to promote my art on YouTube. I believe this tripod can be used in many ways, I have used it to record side views of my art process and also to use it on a daily basis to take still photos of nature and trips I've been on in the past. I also provided some photos included in this review to showcase the tripod in itself. Remember to pull on the rubber bumpers at the bottom of the tripod, trust me I thought it was a one height only mini tripod, but I was fooled, and I did not realize it had extending legs, so watch out for the unexpected height scare. Overall, I think this product is worth it, it is easy to use for timed photography or for social media projects/businesses. This is not a tall tripod, but it's a great alternative for anyone wanting to take pictures/videos for vlogging by setting the tripod on a table. Thank you all for reading. Happy Shopping! I hope I'll help you all with this honest review! ;) ... show more

  • Impractical

Very poorly built. Does not hold the camera. It is a waste of money.

  • Essential product
Size: 1-Pack
This product was one of the essentials I kept in my photo case when I was traveling the country recently. I used a Nikon d3500 (an older model, but if you're looking for weight comparisons this will help) and I could position it any way I wanted and the tripod wouldn't sag or shift while after I had gotten it set, so it was great. It's so small I could fit it into my camera's tiny bag, and it's so light that I didn't even know that I dropped it. Which reminds me, there's probably a free one of these at the Grand Canyon, if anyone wants to go looking for it, lol. Overall, I love this little guy; it's totally worth keeping in my standard kit because it's just so darned good! ... show more
