I happened to mention to my daughter that I really need new pillows because I'm waking up with aching shoulders, neck and headaches. My daughter says her favorite pillows are Amazon Basics alternative down. Never thought I'd hear that coming from her because she's very particular about her bedding. I needed two soft and two medium. I ordered the two pack soft at first, just to see what sort of quality they would be. The soft were pretty near perfect for me. Very plush, light and so comfortable. More supportive than other pillows that cost way more. Satisfied with the soft pillows, I then ordered a two pack medium. A good difference between the soft and medium. I also like the medium very much. No more waking up with neck, shoulder pain and headache in the mornings. These are now my favorite pillows. I'm sticking with these. Please don't change them! When it's time for new pillows, no more searching through pillows and reading countless reviews. If you're going through the search for new pillows, don't hesitate to give these a try. ... show more

I recently had neck surgery and found it very difficult to get comfortable and sleep with the pillows that I currently had. It wasn’t until I stayed in a hotel that had some very soft pillows that I realized that I needed to buy new pillows. I did my research on these and they had good reviews so I went along with some of the advice and I bought the soft ones standard size and I have been very happy ever since I’m able to sleep very comfortably on my side and on my stomach, which is what I prefer I would highly recommend these pillows. ... show more

They are perfectly fine. A bit softer and flatter than I was expecting, even after letting them sit for a day. They are comfy enough. More than worth the price. I can’t really complain about much else, especially when four pillows cost less than $50 (used some Prime card reward points). We will see how they hold up over time, but again… they are very low cost. There isn’t any noticeable smell, other than the hint of the plastic they were vacuum sealed in. They are very flat when you receive them. If you read, it tells you to wash them first. They will fluff up a lot if you wash and dry and are pretty decent. I put one in the dryer to see how it would do right out of the package, it fluffed a little and I washed and dried the other, the one I washed(which I did in the bathtub) was better. I toss and turn and like a softer pillow that doesn’t hold my head up too high. I get migraines and can’t use firm pillows. I bought these pillows when I got home from a trip in which the hotel had fluffy, wonderful pillows that made all the difference in getting a good night’s sleep. These were the closest I could find to the magic hotel pillows, and I’ve never looked back. They provide excellent support without being hard or uncomfortable in any way.
