I’m really impressed with this book safe. The quality is great and it blends right in with the rest of my books so it looks realistic on the shelf. Unless you knew it was there, you would never guess it is actually a lock box. The storage space inside is larger than I expected and holds plenty of items such as cash, cards, jewelry, or small documents. It is lightweight and portable so it works just as well for traveling as it does for keeping valuables safe at home. Just got it so review may change but received in good condition. Keylock seems strong. The fake pages are okay but a bit too white. Almost shiny. Could also use some magnets to keep the cover down. Binding is square, not slightly rounded like a real book but definitely would mix in with other books and worth the small price.

This safe is disguised as a book and looks convincing enough on a shelf that it doesn’t draw attention. The cover and spine feel like a standard hardback, and mine arrived without any of the glue or binding issues I’d seen mentioned in other reviews — the outer book portion is tight and holds up fine. The safe itself is metal with a simple key lock. It’s not meant to be high security, but it’s sturdy enough for storing cash, passports, cards, or other small valuables you just want hidden in plain sight. The included keys work smoothly, and the interior is roomy enough for essentials. Overall, it does exactly what I bought it for — an inexpensive, discreet spot to stash small items.

So far I love this. It does exactly what it is supposed to, and feels sturdy enough. I needed a lock box that I could store somewhere easy, and since I have a bookshelf this one works great for that. It is slightly larger than most of my books, but not enough for someone to question if it is legit. I wouldn't say it is the most realistic looking, just because when you put it beside other books it does look a little too plain to be real. The cover just semi-feel real. For the lock, I don't think it's too loose or too finnicky, I locked it and tried prying it open but couldn't. It is a study lock for what it is. The weight is a little more than a book, but once again it isn't anything crazy. Overall: I really enjoy this lock box, but I wouldn't recommend it for extremely important things. If you just want to keep some things hidden, this is the perfect option.
