These are labeled as charged, technically they are charged but not fully. You will want to charge them for optional use. They have a little disk on the top that is not very secure and have fallen off a few of the batteries.

I was initially concerned about quality, and performance, and wondered if they would work as well as my “namebrand” rechargeable batteries (like Duracell, etc.). Batteries appear to work just fine in my portable phone handsets. The 850-mAh power is a nice feature over the stock 560-mAh batteries they replaced. Will take slightly longer for them to charge but lasts longer between charges as a result. Batteries are new so I can't comment on long-term performance.
