I’m am so disappointed. I purchased the rechargeable batteries for this set of candles. All candles are the same, all are on the same settings and all are part of one set of nine. The only difference is the batteries. The dim candles have these rechargeable batteries in them and the 3 bright candles on the right have regular batteries in them. I moved the batteries in one candle and you can easily tell where the rechargeable batteries are in the batteries second picture. ... show more

  • Won't hold a charge, especially not 1 year later
Size: 16 Count
We use battery testers and various devices show the capacity (Roku, laptops, etc). These batteries charge and discharge quickly. The Roku remote really drains batteries, but we noticed we were only going maybe 5 hours before having to switch them instead of the usual 24. We store batteries in one of those battery storage zip-up containers on a bookshelf in our living room (about 72F year round). The longest a battery was stored was 1-2 months, always after being fully charged. I took out two, put them into the remote - 41%. Tried 4 different times, ending with some freshly charged within the past few days, and the best we could do was 80%. Used the battery tester on the rest in storage and they ranged from 12% to 67%. Absolutely terrible and a waste of money. No wonder they aren't selling these anymore. ... show more

  • 50/50 chance it seems that you get a good batch
Size: 16 Count
These were bought because an article said these batteries were one of the best rechargeable batteries. So I bought 16 each of the AA, AAA along with the AmazonBasics charger. The charger is great so far and so is the price. After using the batteries and charger, however, I wouldn't buy these again. All the batteries to light up LED lights around the house. I think the AAA batteries are fine, unlike the AA ones. They lose their charge way too quickly that I'm having to change them out every day. Very disappointing. The other reason I change them so often is because of the multicolor LED branches, the orange LED is always the first to dim out after a day even with regular batteries and I like for all the colors to be the same brightness. The charger, as I said before works fine, nothing wrong with it but I know now that I'd prefer a charger that individually charges instead of two at a time. I didn't know about this until later but when bubbles start to appear under the battery covering, that means it's been overcharged. One of the causes of this is that the batteries are at different capacity so one battery will be overcharged. I'm glad those batteries still work but I'm not sure for how long. My roommate bought these big tall LED branches from Costco the other day and she liked them so much she bought two more. Now 16 AA batteries are no longer enough to power all of our lights at the same time. I've decided to go with EBL's 2800mAh rechargeable batteries. That's around 400mAh more than the AmazonBasics AA Rechargeable batteries and definitely what I need for all these lights that drain these batteries faster than Usain Bolt. I also bought another charger. They haven't arrived yet but I hope to God they're better than these. So charger is good, according to articles it charges quite fast but if there are times when you only need to charge one or three batteries at a time like I do then I wouldn't recommend it. The batteries I obviously wouldn't recommend. Judging from reviews who say they're good and others that say they're not good, it's not worth the risk. Go with Eneloop, Energizer or EBL. ... show more

  • Subpar batteries... oversize, leaky, short-lived
Size: 16 Count
Actual bat diameter is bigger that standard and will NOT fit into some stringent-space cartridges (electric toothbrush, x-mas light cartridges, LED flash lights, etc). One bat leaked after 1st use. Many lasted half the time than the Panasonic "eneloop" bats. They are cheaper than the completion but not worth having. ... show more

  • Does not hold a charge
Size: 16 Count
Kids toys are notoriously heavy battery use so got rechargeables for both the environment and the wallet. Bad idea. The original charge we got from Amazon was fine. Used an Amazon charger for their batteries and the batteries don’t hold a charge for even a fraction of the time. Thought it was the charger but bought another charger just in case. No luck. Can only conclude that it is the batteries that are faulty. The issue is across the board for their batteries. Have different sizes with the same problem. Now left wondering if should just get regular batteries or brand name rechargeables. ... show more

  • I am actually at a loss for words
Size: 16 Count
The reviews that are good must be fake. These are supposedly high capacity batteries, and they last maybe 15 to 20 hours for something that's on constantly. I had a regular Energizer batteries in my Xbox controllers and they would last for like 6 months. But the same amount of usage these last like a month. I guess this is just a continuation of Amazon buying cheap Chinese crap and putting their brand on it but do yourself a favor and either buy Energizer brand rechargeables, or just buy regular batteries as these are terrible for supposedly being high capacity. ... show more

  • Not impressed. Arrived with 50% charge.
Size: 16 Count
They arrived, and were only about 50% charged. I put them in my recharger to discharge and recharge and these particular ones will only discharge/recharge at 100 mAh which is pretty abysmal. High quality ones Will discharge/recharge at 700mah or better. I absolutely will not purchase them again under any circumstances.. in fact, I am debating on whether I should just return them and get high quality batteries. ... show more

  • Don’t work with Nest product !!!!
Size: 16 Count
First off they came discharged at about 15% capacity. No bog deal I charged them. When I put them in my Nest smoke detector 1- they were very tight like the circumference was a touch larger so it was s very tight fit. Then they didn’t even turn the Nest on. Ther was contact because it started the loud annoying beep telling you to change batteries. Why don’t these work on Nest products?? Can possibly be the contacts/size is not exactly like regular disposable Duracell’s ??? It sure but not happy at all. Should be no reason they would not work in this product. Very disappointed. Will try other products but for now not happy. Careful they don’t work in all provider calling for AA’s. ... show more
