I have been living with this TV for a couple days now, figured I would spill my thoughts like I would to a friend texting late at night. Pros: 1. The picture is really sharp, movies pop, colors feel lively, sports look clean, it just feels nice to watch for hours. 2. Menus move fast, apps open quick, no waiting around tapping buttons alot, that part feels smooth and easy. Cons: 1. Ads are everywhere, menus, home screen, random spots, it feels noisy and EVERYWHERE, sometimes I just want calm. 2. The built in voice helper (Alexa) makes me uneasy, feels like it might be listening even when I am just talking nonsense. 3. This thing is thick, like noticeably chunky on the wall, not sleek or subtle at all. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Overall it does the main job well, the extras can get annoying, depends what stuff bugs you day to day!!!

I replaced my failing 18 year old Samsung bedroom TV with this Fire TV. I've always loved my old TV and I was always pleased with it's performance with an Amazon Fire Stick. So I was sad to see it go. But I was so pleasantly surprised by the Series 4 Amazon Fire TV. I love the saturated colors, the speed of the OS and I especially love the sound. I wasn't aware that the sharp sound of my Samsung was bothering me until I spent some time with my new TV! Because it's in my bedroom, I won't be watching movies on it, so a sound bar isn't necessary, but I love that I can keep it on low and still hear everything perfectly. This is a great buy for the price point. My I will buy be a Fire TV Omni mini 65 inch for my living room. I need to replace my 10 year old Samsung because I like the sound so much better from the new TV in my bedroom... Amazon has spoiled me again!

I considered buying a new TV. Old one worked fine, but I had space for a 55" maximum. When Amazon put that size Fire TV on sale for $279, I couldn't resist! Easy to unbox, attach legs, and follow onscreen set up. Connected it to my TiVo...just in time to catch the Olympics. With all the ice and snow, I almost needed sunglasses for viewing. The factory setting for brightness was 80, so I reduced to 30 and was very satisfied with picture. I've seen better resolution on more expensive TVs, but you sure can't beat this price. And it comes with a voice activated Alexa remote!

Unless you are extremely picky about televisions this is a great buy. All the apps you could want are available, and I've never seen a TV with such clarity for so cheap. I bought it for an exercise area, and it far exceeds any expectations I had. If you use it for a living space you probably want a seperate sound system, but thats true for most TVs this slim.

Love this tv, works perfectly once connected to wifi. Sounds and looks great! Arrived with no screen damage! I like that it comes with a few apps already installed and the remote control has those same apps buttons on it so it’s fast and easy to open them up. I have no complaints!
