First and foremost I purchased this coat when it was on sale for about $25 and, for the price, I really love this coat. Would it be worth the full price of around $70? Personally I don’t think so because there are a couple of odd things about the fit; the sleeves around the tricep area is a little big and bulky nothing too obvious but it would bother me if I paid full price and also the cuffs around the wrist are a little tighter than I’d prefer. However the coat is really warm and really easy to throw on. I like not having a big bulky collar or hood so it layers great with hoodies. Zipper is easy to use and high quality. The green is a really pretty shade and stock photos don’t do it justice; it almost has a slight metallic shine, nothing over the top but enough to make the fabric look intriguing and high quality plus the shade is really rich and vibrant somewhere between an army/olive green and a pine/forest green. If you can get this coat on sale I say it is 100% worth it! At full price I think how worth it would depend on how well it fits the person. If it weren’t for those two odd fitting parts on me I’d absolutely buy other colors at full price because it is still comfortable, warm, and high quality. Fits TTS maybe slightly oversized so no need to size up!

This is a well made coat and with the cinching available, it's more fashionable than many. Depending on your height and size, the cinching will either fall at the natural waist or a bit higher as in an empire waist. The chocolate color is one of my favorite especially because brown goes with everything. I make neon fleece scarves out of pink, turquoise, green, blue, purple and red, etc., and it adds a pop of color every day. The pockets are nice and deep for carrying dog treats and there is no zipper or snap to rub your hand. The zipper works well, seems very sturdy and is reversible for convenience but the bottom sweep is very roomy so you may never use that. It's a dream to walk in and the padding is actually quite warm. This will be great for fall/spring weather and also good for winter weather with a few layers underneath. Nice slippery feel to it too. I go up a size in coats due to broad shoulders and needing the extra room for throwing balls and frisbees for the dogs. There is more than enough room here to do that with ease. It runs a little big so check the sizing chart for your particular needs. Amazon Essentials is producing very good quality coats and they're sewn well with nice fabric. I'm very impressed in how they've upgraded their products. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Love this coat. It's pretty, fits well, and is extremely warm. The zipper works well, and it's a beautiful white color. Love the cuffs, which are stretchy and keep out the drafts. And its high neck also keeps my neck warm and the cold air out. The one thing I dislike about this coat is that, when I sit down, like in the car, I have to unzip it. It's great for walking around, though.

Lovely coat, appears well made. Nice pockets. Nice weight BUT I'm in north Texas.....whatta I know about cold weather. Sleeves have elastic which would keep out the cold. Here's the Con: Definitely did not suitable for my 3x "pear" figure. I even ordered up one size which fit my hips but had shoulders big enough for a wrestler. The elasticized sleeves fell down over my hands. Having said all that, this coat would be darling on an "apple" figure. I did not try the cinch cord. The navy color was quite nice; quilting was perfect. Loved the snaps AND zipper.

Great coat for the price. I got the dark olive for something different and it’s a standout. I cant really recommend it to someone with a pear shape as the coat narrows as it goes down to the hem. My zipper was fine, and I have plenty of room for a heavy sweater/fleece underneath but all the bulk will be on top. That said, I really like it, will probably never close it and like the length - it’s below the knee on my 5’7”frame. I bought a 2x which appears to be same size as the XXL and probably could’ve sized down but for my needs, this is perfect. I’m often disappointed by Amazon coat sizing but this one I can just throw on and go!

Update: still very happy with this jacket now that we have had A LOT of snow and cold in Delaware. Would buy again. Surprisingly good quality for the cost. I bought this to replace a $$ Eddie Bauer jacket that I loved but broke after only a year of use so I couldn’t justify spending the money. I’m usually an xxl and that size fit perfectly with room for a thick sweater underneath. It’s a nice weight. Not too heavy but heavy enough to be warm. Perfect for winters where I live. The brown color is BEAUTIFUL in person. Would absolutely recommend.

am disappointed with this jacket. It arrived extremely compressed and heavily wrinkled due to poor packaging. This has happened multiple times with jackets I ordered from Amazon. Because of these repeated packaging issues, I have stopped buying jackets from Amazon. Please review this issue and improve your packaging standards.
