This coat is super warm and cozy but when all is said and done it's not the most flattering coat one could wear -- it's big and boxy and looks kinda dorky. When I wear it I sorta feel like I could look better in something else but am thankful for the warmth it provides. The things I really like about it are the two-way front zipper and snap closure, the two side zippers which provide flexibility in the fit, and the drawstring hood. Seriously! There's nothing I don't love about this coat. The fit is roomy. If you run on the smaller side of a size, I would size down. I usually wear a medium and I ordered a small. I have plenty of room with bulky items like sweaters and hoodies. Even in below zero temperatures and windy conditions, this coat is toasty. 10/10 ... show more

I returned mine, I got a smaller size and I’m 5’3 and it honestly has no shape and looks like I’m wearing a sleeping bag. Good quality and warm though, but no fit or style to it unfortunately

The absolute BEST winter coat. I have ordered this in numerous sizes over the last few years. I am 5'2" and 140 lbs, I currently wear an XS and it fits great. I have a long down white jacket but wanted a more lowkey, no maintenance one. This one is of a stiffer material than the other AE jacket that I bought in pink, which is not a bad thing as it suggests that this is more durable than the other with its color and style spot-on. Pockets are not lined as the other jacket but this one has a hood without the need to wear a separate ski beanie. I cannot attest to its longevity in zipper nor its wind- or water- resistance as I bough it in a summer promotion for <$35 whence of a decent value if its quality stands in this coming winter. The appearance is spot on: casual and long. It’s not light weight but of medium weight, compared to the other AE jacket which is lightweight, so that packing this would be a bit more challenging than the other if you plan to carry it in a suitcase/ oversized tote. Wind and water resistance besides zipper durability are not tested yet due to my purchase in summer. ... show more

The coat arrived dirty. I noticed stains on the collar, sleeves and pockets. It looked like someone wore it and returned it. Other than receiving an obviously used coat, it fit great and I really liked it.
