I'm happy with this long puffer coat. I'm 5' 5" 135 but I have broad swimmers shoulders so for comfortable movement, like throwing balls to my dogs, etc., I always size up to an XL. This XL is nice and roomy as I want it and there is enough room to wear my knee length puffer vest underneath it for added warmth. The vest also looks good if I leave the coat open. The pockets are nice and deep.... made to hold dog treats and the length comes below my knees. It's perfect coverage for wind, rain, snow or cold temps. The zippers run smooth, easy to manage. There are no inside cuffs in the sleeve which is my only issue but a good pair of mittens will go pretty far up the wrist/arm for added protection. It's sewn nicely and the quality resembles a Land's End coat I have. Price is reasonable. The best thing is that it DOES NOT HAVE A HOOD ! Yippee !! I will not buy a coat which has a hood or a hood which can't be removed. For me, a scarf and a hat do a much better job and I'll always have that panoramic view of the world around me at all times. I also like the lighter color so people will see me out walking at dusk and dawn. Good protection in headlights.

This jacket is THE BEST. I didn't have much expectations but this exceed any expectations I did have. It fits a little large (and isn't greatly flattering) but honestly, id rather be comfortable, warm and dry. The only downfall / Complaint i have is that there is no hood. I am from Massachusetts and recently took a weekend trip to nantucket for an event. Day 1 was fine and the jacket was great. Light weight but warm. 2nd Day - absolute down pour day and to make matters worse we had to take the ferry home and it was PACKED due to The upper outside deck being exposed to the weather. I get sea sick and with everything inside being so crammed (sitting on bags in the hallway of the ferry and stairs) I made the choice to sit outside.... let me tell you. This Jacket kept me warm and dry for the 2.5 hour ferry ride in the rain.... (i had a hat for my head) but other than that, warm and dry!! BEST jacket for the price

I have never received more compliments about a coat. I love the fit, color, light weight, pockets, length. So nice to have the snaps and zipper. It's as warm as my mink, but much more versatile. And I don't have to worry about offending animal rights people.

I LOVE this oversized coat! It’s so warm. It fits snuggly around my arms which traps in the heat and makes it so my arms don’t look like marshmallows. I wear it around the house because it’s so comfy and warm. I also love the stand up collar! I love the snaps so I can use those when I’m in a hurry, which is most of the time. I love the warm fleece in the pockets that keep my hands warm. It’s just a wonderful, cozy, warm, oversized coat! Note that it is not going to accentuate your waist. It’s a box shape. That’s what I was going for is more of an oversized look, so I love it. Two negatives: 1- I am 5’2” and got a size XS. It goes well past my knees. It wouldn’t look as bad if the hem at the bottom didn’t dip in the back. But I just embrace it and still love it. 2- I wish it had a detachable hood! Then if it were snowing or raining or windy, it would be so nice to have that option. I would buy this again if the color white/ivory were available!

I’ve had this coat for about 2 weeks and LOVED it when I first got it! It’s super comfortable and keeps you VERY warm! Unfortunately I realized I don’t love the fit/look of it, only because it’s SO puffy (which isn’t necessary a bad thing, just not my preference) and I’ve realized I need a hood on my coat living in NY in the winter. It also ripped so easily and there’s no way to fix the rip. Definitely a good coat, but realized it wasn’t for me and the quality could’ve been a little better

Such a great coat! Usually a brand girl but took the chance on this because after Christmas budget was tight. So glad I did-it is literally the warmest coat I've ever had. It is puffier than I usually get but it does not make me feel fat. It's long so it covers your legs as well and the absolute best part is the pockets as they are fleece lined. Highly recommend!

I panic-ordered this coat before a trip to Boston and New York when I realized it was going to be way chillier and windier than I was prepared for. I ordered two at once—this khaki one in small, and a black one in extra small—hoping to pick the best fit before our flight. (The black in small wouldn’t have arrived in time; otherwise, that would've been my first choice!) The small was the clear winner for my 5'3", 125-lb frame (small waist, bigger hips). It hit at a flattering length, wasn’t bulky, kept me warm, and held up to everyday wear. It was shockingly stylish and made me look like a functioning adult even after days of running around airports, subways, family apartments, trains, museums, and parks. It even kept me warm through windy April baseball games at Yankee Stadium and Fenway—without needing to layer myself in $400 worth of emergency hoodies. I especially loved that I could zip it all the way up when the wind kicked up or leave it halfway when just walking around—total lifesaver. The khaki color wasn’t my dream (off-whites usually wash me out and make me look blah), but honestly? It wasn’t bad at all. I'd still pick black if I had the choice, but I wasn’t even a little embarrassed to be seen in this one. The only reason for 4 stars: no hood. I knew it didn’t have one when I bought it, so no hard feelings—but after a few gusty days, I was practically begging for one. If there had been a hood, it would’ve been five stars, no question. I fully admit it’s possible there is a hooded version that I missed, or maybe it sold out for the season. Either way, if Amazon sells a hooded version next year (hopefully in a darker color!), I’ll be first in line to grab it.
