The interior (including the hood) is fleece lined. The pockets are a good size, zippered, and also fleece lined. The coat has both a zipper and covered snaps. The jacket is nicely made. I am 5’3” 110 pounds and ordered a medium. There is just enough room to wear a light sweater underneath. I had hoped it would be a little heavier, but then I am always cold. I paid full price, but as the season goes on the price usually drops.

I've been looking for a down jacket to replace my old one. I tried a lightweight one but the sizes are off. I had purchased an Amazon down vest before so I figured go with Amazon Essentials for a jacket. I probably could have gone down a size, but I get cold easily so I layer a lot which will probably work out fine. My heater is terrible so I wear warm clothes inside too. I am very warm and comfortable wearing this with a sweatshirt under it. It's about 45 degrees outside so maybe a couple degrees warmer inside. It's bulky and a bit heavier than I expected a puffer jacket to be, but it is all polyester which might explain it. I ordered the dark green which looks turquoise in the photo, but I'm pleased that it actually is a dark green color, and not too bright. It has fleece lining the inside, which means I keep getting shocked. It will do what I need it to do - keep me warm. ... show more
