Really nice wool blend jacket for fall and winter. Very warm and classically stylish. Not a slim fit, more of a regular fit. I bought my usual size and can still wear a couple of thin layers underneath with no problem. Quality and workmanship is really good. Sadly does not have an inside pocket, otherwise highly recommend.

So I have a full length wool coat that I love and have loved for many years now and it is very versatile. However, I found myself wanting a shorter length coat for a slightly more versatile wear. It is a nice coat. It's definitely a more casual coat: this is a rocking with blue jeans and with business casual outfits kind of coat. Then again I ordered it in the green and that is a very bold color choice. The blending of the classic wool work coat and shacket styling helps create a more relaxed appearance. I'm not disappointed in the quality, I do have to remind myself it isn't my $300 full length Ralph Lauren wool coat, it's a $50 coat from an Amazon brand. It's a good coat for the price point, very warm, seems to be made out of decent material. If you plan to wear this with a bulkier sweater or with anything more than a shirt, go up a size. It fits very true to size. That is quality thing that most brands account for in their cold weather coats: people tend to wear bulkier clothes under cold weather coats so there needs to be a little more room for those bulkier items. The button closure is nice and easy to use and a classic styling detail for a coat like this.

I was immediately drawn to the green and it was also on sale so, it was a steal. I was on the fence of what size to get based on the size chart and other reviews and ultimately decided on an XL. I’m 6’3 for reference. In brands like Levis I’m usually an XL, same with Target’s Goodfellow and Original use. The material of this jacket is nothing to brag about - not surprising at the less than $20 steal and after one wear, I’ve already noticed some pilling. The fit is roomy overall but I found it a bit tight across the back for me. My chest measures about 44”. I also wish it had an inside pocket but, I typically carry a crossbody with me so, it’s more of a comfort than out of usage. I found the jacket an appropriate length as it fell right at my hip. The sleeves were also long enough - I occasionally need to size up to accommodate for my long arms. Overall I would buy again if on sale but, not at the original price point unless the pilling/material quality was addressed. Either way, I still got many compliments and enjoyed the way it anchored my outfit.
