Exactly what you want in a budget jacket. Only issue was hood strings are missing toggles. Need to either buy or make some. (Like two holes in a stick of wood, shouldn’t be hard and will be decorative). Like most jacket hoods it looks kind of dumb and goes too low over your face, but pulling the draw cords fixes that. Or wear a hat with a brim. Flew to Boston in the winter and got tired of taking a raincoat shell and fleece on and off every time I walked indoors to the blast of heat so bought this to wear over a t shirt. Plenty warm I thought. Runs large, is NOT slim fit and neither am I, so if you don’t need to wear layers underneath you can size down, strangely. (The 3x was very comfy, but the wife said I looked like a kid in his dad’s coat, so sized down to a 2x, which was snug, but not tight, could still move around fine and the wife said I looked like an adult so that’s a win lol) The hand warming pockets are high but I found them very comfortable once I actually started walking around in them. Like a warm T. Rex. The bottom pockets open from the top so you can jam your hands in if you prefer. Bulky as expected for a budget coat (no expensive sporty packable down here) but not overly so, and the fabric isn’t too rustly or crinkly, feels good inside the hand warmer pockets. Not 100% waterproof, but it’s a nice tight weave, and i only plan on bringing it out when it’s too cold to rain. Really enjoy the double zipper in the front as a bigger guy. If I’m having to bend down to work on something like putting air in tires I can unzip the collar for more neck room and from the bottom for more waist flexing room at the same time . The arms are pretty roomy. I have bulky arms and jackets that fit my waist an look smart usually don’t fit my arms, but this fit fine. The 2x was snug in the arms but not tight, I still had range of motion

Got this jacket on sale, and I’m pleasantly surprised by it. Extremely warm that fits like a glove, true to size so keep that in mind. Material is excellent as well. Can’t wait to wear in the colder months.

Oversized is an understatement. I normally take a size XL, primarily because I am proportioned such that I need the extra room around the chest and especially the shoulders and am then swimming in extra material around the waist. This is very generously sized for my tighter spots, but then the amount of excess material around the rest of my body is not a just bit more than necessary but rather could be closed in double breasted fashion if the buttons were there. It's way too much. Aggravating this is the lack of drawstrings around the waist to pull the jacket close and fit the body just a little and another at the very bottom to close the jacket around the upper thighs to block out cold wind. I assume the omission of draw strings is a cost savings measure that is of a piece with the cheaply sewn on thin pockets that don't go into the insulation and that have no side entry for you to warm your hands. The hood is not removeable. It feels reasonably warm. The material looks and feels of quality just good enough to survive a season as long as you don't have to wear it too often. Because of the over-oversizing, it's not a great look. It's a budget conscious functional look. The best quality highpoint is the zipper that can open at the bottom--it feels solid and I'm confident that won't be the part that goes. It's the cheap, thin canvas that I'd be afraid to put keys in because, it feels like it could be what you'd make a kite out of. Paper thin, and single ply at that. I think for the price, frankly, that you could do better at a department store and get yourself a brand name item of better quality for the same or less--especially on a sale.

I’m really happy with this jacket overall. The quality is fantastic, and you can tell the construction was done with care. The fabric feels thick and durable, the stitching is clean, and it just has that solid, well-made feel when you put it on. It looks sharp too, with a great texture and finish that make it feel like something much more expensive. The fit is exactly what I wanted. The oversized style gives it a relaxed, comfortable look, and it layers easily over hoodies or sweaters without feeling too tight. It’s definitely roomy but still manages to keep a nice shape. The material feels soft and smooth on the inside, and it’s comfortable enough to wear all day. The value for the price is excellent. You’re getting a jacket that looks and feels premium at a very reasonable cost, and that’s not always easy to find. If I had to point out a couple of small negatives, the shoulders are a bit broader than I expected, which makes them stand out more than I’d like. It’s not bad, just something to note if you prefer a more fitted look. The other minor issue is that there aren’t any easy, quick-access pockets. I found myself wishing there were a couple of spots to rest my hands or stash small items. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars. The quality and feel are amazing, the fit is comfortable, and it’s absolutely worth the price. With a few small design tweaks, it would be perfect.

This is not a coat you'd select for a night out on the town or on the fashion catwalk, but if you're looking for something to put on while you take the dogs out to the backyard or shovel some snow it's a solid option. It fits just as expected, and all of the snaps and zippers are well-attached and work properly. Since it's early in winter it hasn't gotten terribly cold outside yet, but this has been treating me well for temps down into the mid 20's (f). It's comfortable, but the fabric is a little on the noisy side when it rubs while you're moving - I'm fairly sensitive to loud clothes and while it's noticeable it's not enough to bother me at all.
