Garment was purchased for wear inside the home, unbuttoned, in lieu of a sweatshirt or house robe for extra warmth. The fleece is very warm and comfortable. The large size is a perfect fit at the shoulders and sleeves, but too snug on a 37 inch waist to look good buttoned up. Xlarge would hang off the shoulders and arms, so that's not an option.     • Xl is huge for my dad with big belly, small perfect for me who is not fat

The small fits me really well. I'm 5'8" and skinnyish. My dad has a big belly like a beach ball and the xl is too big for him. The arms went way too far past his hands like they are meant for giants. Hoping the large fits my dad, worried tho because his belly sticks out quite a bit. It's a five star for me the skinny guy because the fit is great and the material is nice quality, very cozy.
