After checking the standard outdoor clothiers and not wanting to pay such a high amount for a fleece that might last a year or two before it's outgrown, I checked Amazon. BINGO! Found this Amazon Essentials fleece for less than half of what name brands wanted, and the quality is just as good. We bought a blue one, which is perfect with the uniform. The color didn't fade with washing. Not a whole lot of wind resistance because it's just a fleece without a liner or shell. For us in AZ, it's the right thickness for winter mornings.     • This Is Such a Great Fleece I Own Four!
I’m a woman, but I love wearing men’s casual clothes because they tend to be longer and have actual functioning pockets! I originally bought the burgundy fleece in it large last year. I rarely needed anything heavier in our mild South Carolina winters, but when I did, the fleece fit easily even under a pea coat. It is still in like-new condition over a year later. The one issue I had was that men’s clothes are not necessarily designed to fit our curves, so while I enjoyed the longer length, the bottom was tight around my butt. So this year, I ordered extra larges in brown, green, and buffalo plaid. The plaid material is extremely soft and comfortable, even after being washed. The others are also very soft and warm, and I love the two tone design of the green jacket. They are a little big for me in the body (but fit my derrière well), but I like the oversized look, and they fit under winter coats. The only real issue I had was that the inner pockets and outer pockets were not divided in the new jackets, whereas they were in the one I ordered last year. However, stitching the seem on the inside was a relatively easy solution. Overall, I would recommend these fleeces to anyone who is considering buying them. Especially at these prices, I will definitely be getting more! ... show more
