I bought the black version of this watch about a year ago. It has a large simple face( 42 mm) and is easy to read with large contrasting arabic numerals. It keeps time accurately. I set it a year ago and just checked it and it was just 15 seconds slow. So I liked the black one so much that I bought the green version two weeks ago. All I have said about the black one is true of the green version, but the green and gold is simply beautiful. For the quality the price is amazing. One problem is the low water resistance. I will make sure to not get them wet and absolutely no bathing or swimming. Another problem is no hacking, so it cannot be set to the second. edit: The new version does have hacking. Finally although the black strap was comfortable from the beginning, the green strap was very stiff and took a bit of work to break it in. It is comfortable now. ... show more

The good: Very affordable. Easy read face. Sets easily. Runs smooth. I like the look of the watch. Minimalists will like the watch. A nice low-profile body. Now the bad. It really is minimal: The band is not that long. I have a large wrist and searched for an extra-long band. This was one of the watches that matched. I think it would be perfect for people with 8-inch wrists or less. I could only get the clasp to barely reach the first/last hole. First I am rough on watches ,do to working while wearing it. Looking for a decent looking analog watch at a low price. Well I found this Amazon basics watch that checked all the boxes. For the price this is a stylish and well made watch, that should last me a while. Large face easy to read, as well as it keeps accurate time. This watch is made so you can change watch band easily. My 85-year-old dad needed a watch that is simple to use and I wanted it to be inexpensive because he loses things so often! This was a perfect watch for him. Easy to read easy to take care of.

But not great. Mostly readable but the date is hard to read. Time sometimes needs correction. Strap has lasted nine months but now shows considerable wear. Next time I’ll look for a different model but may come back to this one!

This is a really nice watch for the money. I did not care for the band so I put on a 22mm nato band I had and it looks really nice together. The key thing for me is that the watch is easy to read as I have trouble seeing the time on most watches without putting on glasses. I have been wearing this every day for about a week now and really do like this watch. Previously I was wearing a Fitbit, but got tired of having to charge it all the time. Since my phone keeps track of steps, I did not need the step tracking and a regular watch suits the bill just right for me. ... show more
