My son absolutely loves this coat. I cannot attest to how warm it will keep him on in extremely cold weather as he only got to wear it once or twice when the temperature dropped down to around 40°F, but it did work well in that weather. The zipper broke on his old coat so I was forced to scramble to buy a new coat even though winter was pretty much over. If I hadn't, we probably would have ended up with a freak snowstorm (we are in north Texas). I was glad he got to try it out. My daughter is jealous of some of the features this coat has and wants one for herself, but wasn't fond of any of the colors and didn't want the exact same one as her little brother.     • It’s ok, not water proof or heavy but good for play.

It’s OK. It’s not waterproof and it’s not very warm but it’s good for play outside if you put a sweatshirt underneath it. The inside is like a flannel soft solid color and there is a little bit of warmth to it but very very little so I layer the kids up before I put it on .

This jacket is absolutely worth me writing a review. I bought this jacket for my son, 3 years ago. I got it a little big so he could grow into it. It has lasted 3 years now with him playing out in the snow and is his everyday coat in upstate ny where it gets very cold . It’s very warm and very durable. There’s not one rip in it, I asked him if he wanted a new coat this season and he said no, this jacket is still good and there’s nothing wrong with it. You can’t beat it for the price.
