These coats were a last minute purchase before a trip to Yellowstone, and they saved us during the freezing nights and chilly days! They are super lightweight and could be rolled and stuffed into small hiking backpacks. Each coat comes with a small cinch bag too. My youngest normally wears 6/6x, which is what I ordered for her, and hers fit perfectly with room for some layers. The fit might only last for 1 season before she outgrows it. My 2 oldest typically wear 10-12, and are about the same height and weight, but one prefers clothes a little bigger, so I got the blue coat in XXL and orange in XL. They both had room for plenty of layers and for them to get another season out of them, if they last. The XXL did not seem too big, which I was worried about. I'd say the coats without layers are more for fall or spring in the Midwest where we're from. All in all, good purchase for the price! 😁 ... show more

This is a nice lightweight jacket for warmer winters like what we are currently experiencing in the NYC area. I removed one star because it runs small. Was hoping my child could also wear this next year, but I think it will be too small. I should’ve sized up. My child is a tall, almost 7 year old. This is the perfect winter coat for the southern states! We bought it for our trip to Arizona but also knowing that Souther California has cooler weather coming.
