This coat was perfect for my south Florida kids to visit Ireland. It dropped down to the 50’s which is super cold for us. My 7 year old is tall for her age and is about 70ish pounds and we got the size 10 and fit great. It has nice built in sleeves for their hands which would be perfect for snow. It was rainy there and didn’t get soaked. It’s not water proof but again didn’t get soaked. It’s a nice soft material and my very picky kid really likes wearing it. And it was a very cute coat for my girly girl! It held up the whole week we were there and will be wearing again when we visit Virginia in the winter.

By daughter had two jackets in a row with zippers break in less than one full season of wearing them. I read a few reviews for this jacket that specifically mentioned the zipper being good and sturdy, so I was sold. It came in, and as my first Amazon brand clothing item, I am pleasantly surprised with the quality. My daughter loves this coat. The lining on the inside is very warm, and is even in the side pockets as well, which she says makes the pockets so warm and cozy. She is a size 7, and I bought the Medium. I was worried it might be too big, but it fits well and she should be able to wear it next year too. Amaxon calls it heavy weight, and I would say it is very warm and definitely is a coat and not a jacket. However it is not overly bulky. I bought the navy with stars so it can hide dirt easily, and it is very pretty. My daughter is in love and I am happy with the sizing and quality.

My daughters both wear theirs with no complaints. The jacket runs true to size. It’s a pretty ivory color, and it’s well insulated for colder weather. After purchasing this coat last year, I purchased it again this year in a larger size since my daughter has grown. It’s great quality at a competitive price.

Perfect! keeps toddler warm. Waist belt like buttons keep it snuggly on her without bunching up. Finger holes help keep hands warmer too as it keeps the sleeves down. Washed it several times, still looking good. Not too puffy and the zipper is smooth.

This is a nice winter jacket. My daughter said that it keeps her warm in the cold weather, and even though it is a "puffy" jacket, she said she has no problem swinging on the monkey bars or climbing up trees. She also likes the zipper guard feature located at the top of the zipper because it protects her neck and under her chin from getting scratched by the zipper handle. The hood offers nice coverage and stays on even in windy conditions. This jacket also goes well with the Amazon Basics snowpants. The jacket is true to size, but if you want to size up one size (like we did), the jacket will still fit all right, especially because it is quite "puffy," so it doesn't look quite as big as thinner jackets might. The jacket tends to dry quickly EXCEPT for the cuffs. This is why I took off one star. The cuffs are absolutely awful! I think the designer(s) thought they were adding a modern and "cool" feature to the jacket by making cuffs that resemble the cuff design of the thin, stretchy long-sleeve shirts with the thumb holes. Unfortunately, this "cool" feature does not dry quickly (like the rest of the jacket), so when my kiddo plays outside in the snow, the cuffs are soaking wet for hours afterwards. I wish they had made the cuffs out of the same quick-dry nylon fabric as the rest of the outside of the jacket. Even with this flaw, I would still recommend this jacket.

I struggled to find a cute coat that my child felt comfortable in. This coat has been great! It is warm enough to play in the snow. Comfortable, easy to get on and off on their own. Can easily wear a backpack with this coat. Previous coat made this difficult and backpack was always sliding off, making my child very frustrated. The print is so, so cute. A great play on “leopard print” the blue is a really pretty muted shade. Which also makes your child easy to spot when out and about. I can’t say enough good things!

My 6 yo daughter struggles with finding comfortable clothing due to her moderate sensory processing disorder. It is a STRUGGLE every year with finding her a winter coat. Last year I found one she was comfortable in but it was hideous, if I’m being completely honest. I decided to try this coat out before she went to a very cold event in DC (ICE for those familiar). It is so cute and the fit is great. It kept her warm during the cold show! She loved it right away and finds it very comfortable. She still doesn’t like wearing a hooded sweatshirt underneath but will wear a crew neck sweatshirt paired with a winter hat, so we found a way around that. She has worn this coat all winter, even playing in snow and sledding. She looks adorable in it and I will definitely be reordering (maybe in another color) when she grows out of this one. If you have a little girl who wants to be on trend but also comfortable (don’t we all?!) this coat is the one!
