I love this coat! It is exactly what I have been looking for and was actually so much nicer than I would have expected! I decided to try this when I saw that it was 60% wool, which is a high amount for a coat at this price point. I've been looking for a good quality black coat that didn't break the bank, as I live in the south and we only have cold weather for a few months out of the year. I wanted something warm, as I am cold natured, and something that was timeless and elegant. This is absolutely perfect! The shape and fit are so versatile! This looks great with a dress but also with jeans and a sweater. This coat DOES have POCKETS! Nice and deep pockets at that! They are not fake as some reviews say, they are simply sewn closed, as is typical for nice material. Some people, like my mother in law, don't like the "bulky" look that they think a pocket adds and prefer to keep them sewn in place for smoothness of the drape. After reading through the other reviews, looking at the size chart, and noting that many felt this coat ran large, I decided to go with a Medium. I normally choose between a Medium and Large in most women's clothing. For your reference I am 5'7, 145lbs, 39x32x39, and this Medium fits me perfectly, just as it does the model in the 5th photo, except that the sleeves are a little longer on me. The reach almost to my fingers, which I love as that is warmer and nicer looking. I note this photo as it gives the best impression of what this looks like on. In this photo you can really see how the coat is flattering her shape. The buttons are slightly lower which brings in the waist and the pockets add depth and dimension to create a slight hourglass effect. The coat has a feminine shape without being fitted close to the body or being too fussy or frilly, it does not look shapeless or masculine like so many heavier coats can. Overall the coat has a nice balance of warmth to weight. This is well insulated and nicely lined and I think it will certainly be warm enough in the winter. It has a "heavier" weight to it than a synthetic coat would have, but I would not describe it as heavy. I feel comfortable wearing this all day, if outdoors and walking around. It doesn't feel like it is weighing me down or even slowing me down. Upon arrival it was quite wrinkled, as I ordered mine from Amazon Resale, knowing that it was not going to be in pristine condition. Other than the wrinkles, it was in fact in pristine condition! One quick turn about with the steamer got all the wrinkles out and the fabric of the coat is gorgeous! It very much looks like a far more expensive coat. I expect that this will last forever, so long as it is properly dry cleaned when needed.

Overall this is a nice coat for the price. It's hard to find a wool blend with 60% wool under $100. It's a heavy weight and seems like it will be warm. It seems pretty well made, but perhaps not quite as high quality as a name brand wool blend coat i have. The style is boxy and oversized but that seems to be in right now. The burgundy color is really pretty. It's not quite full length. The biggest downside for me is that despite being oversized, it doesn't fit well over a heavy sweater in the arm holes, which seem to be cut a little narrow. I sized down to a medium and it's the right size but for that issue.

This looks so good! The pockets are fake which is annoying, definitely, but this isn't like other products which look good in the photo but then fit weird, this is great actually. I am 5'2 and 130-140lbs, and the xs fits me great and doesn't drown me or look weird like other long coats can do for a short person. feels slightly heavy/thick which really blocks the cold too. Note its only 60% wool (I hsven't tested it on serious cold but seems okay so far), but still looks nice.

Love this wool coat! WOW, I've been searching so many stores for a wool coat. Even ones hundreds of dollars may have 20 percent wool or less. This one has 60 percent wool! I bought my true size. Perfect length for short girls who want a long coat but not to my ankles. And this does have pockets. So many reviewers say it doesn't. Yes it does, they are just sewn shut. If you put your finger in the corner of the pocket it has a little gap where you can tell it's real. Just carefully unthread that baby. I hope Amazon will come out with some more wool coat styles.

This coat didn’t work for me. I was in between sizes; the medium looks ridiculously large (not proportionally oversized) and the small was too tight in the shoulders (5’6”, 150lb, 36-30-40, usually a 4-6 top with broad shoulders and 10 bottoms). The color is beautiful and while it doesn’t look expensive, it doesn’t look cheap either. But the light weight of the materials meant it puffed out horizontally in weird ways instead of nicely draping on me (both sizes). It’s a good price point, especially when it’s on sale so it’s worth a try.
