I chose this jacket at the perfect time to try out the features. I live in the Midwest, and Autumn is usually comprised of cold, then hot, then wet/cold, Wet/hot, and everything in between. The idea was to use this over a sweater in the morning so that it could be removed if/when it chose to warm up in the afternoon. Solid choice that did exactly what I wanted. The material is wool and not itchy, and has a nice weight to it. A pleasant surprise was that depending on which side of the coat overlaps the other in the front, you get to display 3 or 4 buttons, whatever floats your boat that day for style. *Full disclosure*: I got this jacket for the cost of the taxes, but I CHOSE this jacket because I needed a jacket like this. This review is honest and I get no kickbacks, just expected to write something (honesty should be expected in my opinion). Hopefully this helps someone!

The shoulders are very stiff. I don't feel comfortable in it because the shoulders feel fake like wearing shoulder pads. I found the collar to be a bit scratchy on my neck area. It looks okay on, except for that. I sized up and I am glad I did. A smaller size and the arms probably would not have been long enough for me. What I am astounded by is that it comes with the pockets sewn shut. I have seen many reviews saying that there are fake pockets, "just flaps," but there ARE real pockets. You just have to open them. Why on earth this jacket is sent out without telling people that they need to open the pockets is beyond me. If it had not been for another review mentioning this I may not have tried. You feel a bit like you are ruining the jacket by cutting threads just in case there may be pockets under there. There are. It is okay to do so. But why were they sewn shut to begin with? Why no instructions?

I got this coat in Caramel Heather and it looks just like it does in the picture. It has a generous, roomy fit so you can wear it over bulky winter blazers and sweaters without it binding. In fact, you may want to order a size smaller if you want a closer fit. This coat is very warm and keeps me nice and toasty, from my neck down to my knees, even in below-freezing temperatures. It is fully lined so you don't have to worry about scratchy wool making your skin itch. It has two deep pockets that are roomy enough to hold your phone, keys, wallet and other necessities. The buttons are securely sewn on and it comes with extra buttons in case you need them. This coat looks very polished and professional and goes well with business attire as well as casual wear and jeans. The outer shell fabric is a 60% wool/40% polyester blend and the lining is polyester. It cannot be washed in water and must be dry cleaned when needed.

I really wanted to love this coat because it has so much potential. The burgundy color is absolutely gorgeous in person—deep, rich, and honestly perfect for fall and winter. The material itself feels thick and warm, and with a scarf I know it would’ve kept me comfortable on cold days. But the sizing is just so off. I normally wear a Small, so I sized down to an XS after seeing other people mention it runs big, and even then it was still HUGE on me. It’s not just a relaxed fit—it feels like a whole extra person could fit in there with me. The cut is boxy and almost rectangular, so instead of giving any shape it just hangs awkwardly. And the pockets? Unfortunately they’re fake, which was such a letdown. Overall, beautiful color and nice material, but the fit and design details completely missed the mark for me.

This longline coat is a bit pricey for an Amazon Basics item, but the heavy wool material is high quality and worth it. The caramel color looks as pictured, easy to match with any winter neutral (navy, black, brown, cream, etc.). The pockets are really deep and come stitched to maintain structure, so you'll need to unseal them if you want useable pockets. I recently wore my coat out during an early season cold snap in NY (low 40s/high 30s) and it kept me warm and cozy. As others have mentioned, this is not "regular-fit" as the title suggests. I usually wear an S in winter coats, and I'm glad I sized down to an XS. The XS is still quite oversized on me (5'2", 115#), but as I already have several fitted coats and the oversized look is on trend currently, I actually really like how this fits. I probably won't wear it buttoned up (it gives me no shape), but it looks really cute open with a turtleneck or other fitted sweater.

This is gorgeous. Not itchy, i love the fabric. It is lined. Very well made, durable. Probably not good for rainy or wet days. Its warm and comfortable. Very stylish. Definitely worth the value. Im very happy i got this. Will elevate my look while keeping me warm. I feel very classy in this. Ive gotten so many compliments. The buttons are sewn on well. Seems like spot cleaning wouldnt be too difficult, just be careful. Otherwise probably dry clean. Definitely choose this if youre questioning this choice. Came fairly quick, and well packaged. Fits as expected- might want to size up so it isnt a tight fit. Thats what i did and its perfect. I will say…. For the value the coat is.. i thought the pockets would be real, not just decorative flaps….

I don’t love this coat. Although it is made from a high-quality wool blend, it doesn’t feel soft and is uncomfortable. The relaxed fit is an understatement; I ordered a small, and it hangs on me, making me feel quite frumpy. I believe the price is much higher than it should be. I plan to see if I can exchange it for an extra-small, and if that looks better, I will update my review.
