As predicted, Amazon Essentials does not disappoint. Got this for my child for the last ski season. We were in Mammoth Mountain, CA during March 2023 on the day the snowfall record was exceeded. That day also happened to be the day my child wearing this jacket was taking ski lessons. I'm old and no longer have as much tolerance for the cold and wet as I used to, but I didn't hear one complaint from my kid even with the snow pounding their face. The inside was still dry after a long day of skiing. Bottom Line: I got a good deal on this jacket, but even at full price it would be worth it. Purchased 3t for my 30 lb and 32.5” tall toddler for size reference. Jacket seems to be well made. Love the camo print. He can fit a sweater under for extra warmth and makes it a snug fit. Definitely want to keep purchasing this jacket for him. Warm for Alaska winters!!

My son absolutely loves this coat. I cannot attest to how warm it will keep him on in extremely cold weather as he only got to wear it once or twice when the temperature dropped down to around 40°F, but it did work well in that weather. The zipper broke on his old coat so I was forced to scramble to buy a new coat even though winter was pretty much over. If I hadn't, we probably would have ended up with a freak snowstorm (we are in north Texas). I was glad he got to try it out. My daughter is jealous of some of the features this coat has and wants one for herself, but wasn't fond of any of the colors and didn't want the exact same one as her little brother.
