Great looking base for my teen daughter's new bedroom. I've been looking at platform beds for a while and decided to take the plunge with this one. It is made out of solid wood, rather than a veneer, so it can be painted if we decide to change colors down the road. I am also happy that it can be taken apart and reassembled without crumbling like an MDF version frame would. Pros, the finish is great. Nice and solid. Boards are not warped. Assembled in less than 20 minutes with no problems. The only con is the color is hard to match. It's not a honey pine or a dark brown, it's not a natural wood either. I've been looking for something for days to match and it's either too light or too dark. I was hoping that the Amazon Brand (Rivet) would carry something to go along, but no such luck. Disappointed in this aspect. Otherwise, solid piece of furniture. As a side note, this should be assembled in the same spot as you intend to use it for leveling purposes. I have hardwood floors on top of a concrete slab, which means there are some small leveling issues from one side to the other. I was surprised that there are no felt pads or screw in type leveling feet. Not a big deal provided it's assembled and screws tightened in place to ensure it will sit level and not have issues.

I am so impressed with the quality of this platform bed, this design is the best that I've owned -- and I've owned a few from several different brands. It did require assembly, though all the pieces were clearly marked, packaged together, and it was fairly simple to put together -- it took about 15 min for me to assemble, by myself. The only tool needed was an allen key, which was included. I have to admit, I'm always a bit weary of platform beds, I worry that they'll cave in the middle while I'm sleeping, though this one was definitely designed with that in mind. The center support is metal with 3 metal feet that provide even support on the floor. I also really like that the slats are held in place by a velcro strip, so much more practical than having to screw each slat in piece by piece, and I find that it stays perfectly in place. I've been using this bed for a few weeks now and have had no issues with wobbling, uneven support, and it works so well with my mattress that I do not need a box spring. The color is also very nice and the wood is solid -- the entire bed looks high quality, well worth the money, and I would definitely highly recommend this bed!

Used this with a 14" memory foam mattress for about a month and so far it's been perfect. Assembling it was quick and easy and I ended with a beautiful wooden frame foundation which added more style to my bedroom than my previous, boring, black, metal foundation. I also enjoyed how solid it was. Again, my former bed frame/foundation creaked a lot for no apparent reason, but this one was as quiet as a mouse.

This is a great bed frame. I absolutely love the color and the finish is so pretty. It looks and feels like a much more expensive bed frame with the real wood!! As far as assembly goes, itโs pretty easy. It takes a little bit off time to do but definitely isnโt hard. The instructions are detailed and not confusing. Seems sturdy when I move around on it. Overall, a great bed frame!!
