It works well for decorating glass jars with pressed flowers and tissue paper, as well as attaching photos to wooden planks. The clear coating dries completely transparent, which I love. When using it on wood, I did notice some visible streaks from the brush strokes, though that may have been due to the brush I used. A higher-quality paintbrush would likely eliminate this issue. That said, once applied, this stuff is incredibly durable—no peeling, no flaking, just a strong, lasting bond. Mod Podge has been around for decades for a reason—it’s a crafting staple! My grandma used it in the '50s, my mom after her, then me, and now even my teen daughter. The only downside is that it does dry out if left unused for too long (mine sat for about five years), but that's to be expected. I used this decades ago when I rubber stamped. I didn't like ink all over the wood, so I Modge Podged the wood to keep the stamps looking new. Now, I need it to seal work I'm doing on wooden dolls. It is the same perfect sealer that it was years ago. Last night, I found a pretty jewelry box that was too pretty to recycle. I decorated the box (cardboard) with stickers, paint, and ink.
