A Rounded Review TLDR: just buy and use the leather conditioner. Not perfectly crafted, great value for the money. The overall aesthetic for both pieces is fantastic and really elevates the space it occupies. Even without being styled it’s a timeless piece. I love that the cushions are attached to the frame as my old couch slipped a ton and that the cushions for the backrest zip on and off for easy cleaning. Such a great feature. LEATHER- The leather on the grey 84” sofa I received is true to the photo, medium grey with a subtly brown undertone. Upon arrival the couch’s leather was very dry, making for a sort of ashy/matte in look and a few scaly/dry patches. I went to a local supermarket and bought some Weiman’s Leather conditioner and went to town on it with quite a few passes and let it soak in and one of those super soft blue shop rags. This was my first time using a leather conditioner and it did make a world of difference in regards to shine and texture. The ashy effect was gone and replaced by a rich, smooth medium grey color. This don’t count this as a ding against review stars, furniture requires care and early, quality care can really prolong the life of any product. The Cognac Chair- Also very dry. Also really needed conditioning. Cognac chair arrived with decent cut in the back cushion leather near the zipper. QUALITY/STURDINESS: This is where we lose our star for the. Grey couch- One of the legs had some sort of blowout near where it attaches to the couch and was wood/plastic filled. I say wood/plastic as I am really not sure if this is real wood or just very strangely finished. The center support leg also screwed in very crooked. With the leather being as dry as it was, I really wouldn’t try to use it much without prepping thoroughly via cleaning and conditioning. I’ve never owned a leather couch before, but that texture was enough to have my instincts searching for leather care articles. There was also some padding that the leather was sewn over without it being tucked all the way under, leading to it showing on the front of the couch. It’ll need to be nipped off. Cognac Chair- Predictably , the one thing I could not condition away was the box knife cut in the leather of the back cushion. The wooden frame was also dented in on the front left corner, very visible. Great legs though! Side by side comparison, the color on the wooden portions is definitely different. COMFORT- Both are cozy. So very cozy. So very very chill and relax cozy. Firm, with just the right amount of give, sure to please the home body. Overall, I paid just under $900 for the sofa and $460 for the chair. Zero regrets it as I’m confident with the updates and and bought it with the intention of putting it to good use.

I got the sofa on a flash sale for under $500. BEST Amazon purchase ever. Great delivery, they brought it right in my home. Packaged very well, no damage. I've had the sofa for almost 2 months. It's comfy, great for stretching out. Great size and feels well made. Thick leather. TIP- ORDER CONDITIONER! It needs a good conditioning out of the box. COLOR DIFFERS FROM PIC! Not so light, has brown undertones and is more of a taupe color. It's gorgeous!

I purchased the grey 84-inch couch and the cognac 63-inch loveseat when they were on sale for a HUGE DISCOUNT. Both arrived from different delivery companies on the same day from different parts of the country. This might explain why the grey couch was soft and in perfect condition and the cognac loveseat needed some leather conditioner (which it soaked right up -- leather honey brand). Both couches arrived in great shape even though the boxes were a little beat up. I was honestly shocked at what a great deal I got once I put the legs on and got them all set up. Very comfortable, well-made, look nice, a very nice surprise. The grey couch is much more of a grey-brown in person but I love it. I have had them for a month now and think these might be the best purchase I have ever made. The grey 84" couch cost just $360 and the cognac 63" loveseat was $390 during some weird sale Amazon was having on most of the Rivet branded furniture but even at full price, I would have been happy. Needless to say, I believe I got great value for my purchase. You really can't go wrong with these sofas. They are well-built and should last a long time if I take care of them.

The leather is dry and needs conditioner. I gave mine one round by hand with a light buff after. The leather smell is nice, but don't be deceived by 'top grain' as that doesn't necessarily mean high quality. This sofa is top grain but it's thin. I got it on a crazy sale for 250 all in, so for me well worth it. It's comfortable but I'd prefer a bit more depth. The color is much more brown than gray.

Lots of Pros: got it on sale. So it was a great value. Leather (once conditioned) is soft. Comfortable - most comfortable mid-century modern sofa I’ve owned - soft enough for naps, but still firm. I like the actual brown/gray color. Cons: color not as shown in photos (from far away and once the leather is properly conditioned, it’s a dark brown with a gray hue). It’s big! Because of the design, it still looks good in a small space, but it has a large footprint. Had to turn the side tables to make it fit in the small living room. Leather needs conditioning (Due to other reviews, I ordered mink oil when ordering the sofa. Applied 3 coats of mink oil and it still needs more). Overall, if you can get the sofa for under $900, it’s a 5-star sofa (I think the cons are overcome by a good deal). However, paying full price, I would have been upset. For full price, I’d expect accurate product photos and leather that is ready to use.

Comfortable, absolutely real leather (you can smell it), love it's size and has a modern look to it. When sitting, will not slip off the seat like most leather seat cushions. I love how the cushions have zipper to keep them on the couch, excellent made…Bought the loveseats at a great price and I am so glad I made this purchase!

We got this couch (grey) to compliment our current couch(tan) and it looks so good! Its definitely has some spring to the cushions and it feels really sturdy - the material itself feels soft but not soft enough that it could be punctured unintentionally. We have two dogs that are already comfortable sleeping on it and lounging. 100% recommend this couch to others searching.
