This pillow is best-suited for people who like a low, firmer, headrest and those who like to sleep on a pyramid or mound of pillows because they have more structure than a traditional pillow. The reason for this is the 'gusset' which, one supposes is an approximately two inch wide strip of cloth cover which is sewn between the two sides or faces of the pillow surfaces, resulting in a mini-wall that gives the pillow some structure and flatness. In other words, this isn't a typical puffy down pillow, expecially because it has a very high ratio of feathers to down within. Our thinking was to use the pillow to lay down a foundation or bed for a couple of all down, light and fluffy pillow and these work well for this purpose, and for this purpose four stars. Having said that, because of this added gusset, creating a rolled edge between both faces, and that this is primarily a feather filled case, the pillows aren't the light, fluffy things one expects from a higher down-content pillow. If you are looking for a lower profile, firmer feather-based pillow, this is a good choice. This household prefers to stick with 90% goose down.
