Pretty standard affordable AC, I replaced a Hisense with the Amazon comparable variant and so far it’s working great. Super cools a 11x12 room relatively easily. On the low setting it doesn’t make a lot of noise but on high there’s no denying it’s running! If noise were a factor I’d make shop around a little to see if there’s something that better suits your needs otherwise I’d say buy this one. ... show more

It blows cold ass air. It keeps the room cold, has no issue maintaining desired temp even in the hottest part of the day. I used a thermometer to measure the return air temperature, it was coming out at 42F Please if you buy this, make sure to run the fan on HIGH only. as when you put it on low, it also puts the outside cooling fan on low. This is the only flaw with this machine, but every single window AC made is like this. Only ever run the fan on the highest speed. but other then that, it makes it very cold. it dehumidifies very nicely. and its really quiet. and knowing it can make air that's 42F (taken with a calibrated thermal probe) I say its really quite nice for 130$ or whatever price it is when you read this. its quite solid too, dosen't feel flimsy or anything either. ... show more

This AC is extremely efficient. It works VERY well, is very quiet, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The addition of the remote control is convenient. What’s interesting is that it doesn’t appear to drain water which is nice because we don’t see it dripping constantly outside. It’s not heavy at all and very easy to install. The only potential issue is there’s styrofoam inside the vent cavity. I am curious to see how this holds up in the long term and whether or not it develops mold growth. 3rd unit I have bought from Amazon because this air conditioner really cools. Low amps which help keep my power bill lower in this summer AZ 115+ heat. One unit is mounted in my storage shed where my power scooters and power rollator stay. The 2nd unit is mounted in my greenhouse which allows me to grow vegetables & fruit in summertime. The 3rd unit is mounted in my kitchen as it helps with summertime heat particularly when I am using the gas oven. It doesn't have frills such as a remote or timer, Bluetooth, etc. Product is a little noisy but that's not a problem for me. Important to me are low amps and watts. It's a small unit. The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The last one I had was the midea, which is around the same price and actually lasted two seasons before the compressor went. I’ve had many Amazon products over the years, so I thought why not especially since the price was so good. This is my first night using it at the time I’m writing this review so I may update it in the future. When I first turned it on, I admit it wasn’t cold at first, and I was a little concerned…. But about 30 seconds later…. Ice ice baby!!! it feels amazing. I can’t talk about the cleaning yet because the filter is brand new, but just like the other ac I had it. It’s very basic you pull out the filter you wash it out in the sink and then you put it back in so I don’t think that’ll be a problem. It did not come with a remote control, which is fine anyway because I hooked it up to an Alexa outlet so whenever I say “Alexa, turn on the air conditioner” it immediately comes on at the setting. I left it previously, and if I say turn it off, it shuts off.. as far as the noise? Honestly, it’s very quiet it reminds me of white noise you know the kind of sound you use for sleeping. This is actually a lot quieter than the other one. I’m really surprised. Amazon basic products are definitely getting better…. But again this is my first night if next year it’s still working and the year after that in the year after that believe me, I’ll update it and make this an even better review but if it breaks in a short amount of time, I’ll update the review either way right now I’m in heaven and I’m going to sleep. Goodnight! 😁 update: I just bought my second one. I really love it. Yes it’s true. It does not blow out cold at first so you must be patient.
