The unit is easy to use and has done a good job at keeping a bedroom cool. The only major issue is that I received it severely dented on the top and damaged in the rear part of the unit. I began to initiate a return but then the heat wave struck and I decided to risk it and run it. So far as it has continued to work despite the damage. But I'm definitely viewing it as a short-term solution. It is very easy to install just know that if you're window is a sliding window from the side and not a vertical up down window that you will need to get a extra kit of some kind for blocking the rest of the window. The small amount of stripping that you receive will not effectively seal up the rest of the gap in my windows. ... show more

Bought this in summer 2020 and it has worked well for my bedroom. Still going strong. Definitely love the timer, always coming home to a cold room is wonderful. Dehumidifier options are a life saver.

I use this unit in my large kitchen, I have so many windows and not much insulation and it cools down quickly. I don't have it on all day, just when I'm in the kitchen cooking. Great unit for the price.

Had a little damage to side of unit...but it didn't affect the unit its self. And easy install and began cooling the room as soon as it turned on ...I live in Arizona and we are having a major heat wave ....midnight it's still 100 degrees outside ...all hardware stores in area sold out of air conditioners and only Amazon had the size and price I wanted...it came in a day !!!!! I purchased this unit 4.5 months ago to use in my well insulated garage. It worked great, until it didn’t. It started out not blowing cold air and now just hums and doesn’t blow any air at all. I would expect a unit to last more than 1 summer

I ordered this in April & being that my old unit still worked I never opened the box. Old unit gave out, so I finally opened this to install & it was clearly damaged. Disappointed being that it took so long to notice
