I don’t normally write reviews but I stressed over this decision and was pleasantly surprised. Needed it to fit in a 31” space and hold up to 250 lbs while looking nice/ not chintzy. The material is sturdy. The finish is very nice. It was easy to put together alone and arrived really well packaged. I especially appreciated the styrofoam dividers that were wrapped in plastic. So the styro didn’t break apart all over my living room and I was able to use it underneath the parts while assembling to assist me keeping things even and not scratch the finish or my floors. Finished product obviously holds quite a few pairs of adult shoes comfortably (women’s converse sneakers mostly, that helps). The shoe tiers are a bit low but a pair of ankle boots made it once I got them under the seat. And it’s a little less wide than I’d like but that left just enough room for the golf umbrella and my rain boots on the side, so that works. Perhaps the picture will help you estimate the dimensions of the bench in situ After ordering I was concerned about the width of the seat but that is adequate for purpose. Another reviewer mentioned wood glue to really stabilize it. I will be doing that once I get some. The bench is adequate with just the hardware but why not make double-sure? Overall if you need a shoe bench for a small area, and don’t want a wire or modernist style, this works quite well

The shoe rack looks like a small bench with 2 shelves and a top, made of pine wood. They feel quite sturdy as opposed to other racks available at Amazon and are made mostly of plastic or particle board, The only drawback is that you can only put 7 pairs of shoe per rack. I had a dozen of shoes so I bought a pair of shoe racks and stacked them up (see photo). They fit well in my hallway and are out of the way in my apartment. The other types of rack (made of flimsier material) can accommodate much more amount of shoes. So far, I am satisfied with the purchase. It all depends on your personal tastes.

I was looking for a 'compact' entryway bench for our small foyer. It was very easy to assemble; the box came beautifully packed and organized. The instructions were easy to follow. Took me about 20 minutes to put it all together. It is a beautiful shade of brown, looks like walnut finish and you can still see the wood grain. It is perfect. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have a small entryway/foyer and have been looking tirelessly for a storage/drop zone remedy and didn’t break the band as my family has grown. This was easy to put together and is just big enough to fit 2 bags on top and several shoes on the shelves below. Some reviews said they didn’t like the hardware showing and the stickers to cover them, however I don’t mind this. It’s just in our entryway to drop our stuff. Personally, I can’t really tell unless I look hard at it. This is stable enough to fit our needs and I’m loving that this has helped with clutter and bags/ shoes thrown around the house.
