Very disappointed!!! The description in the Q&A section says it is grey with a hint of taupe but it's not it is all grey and not as expected. The grommets are tiny and cheap, one of them broke as I was sliding it in the rings. The curtain rings were hard to put in even though I've used the same standard rings on many curtains before. The grommets on this curtain are just not made for American standard rings I guess. It comes with plastic cheapo rings that I didn't want to use.

I ordered the herringbone patterned shower curtain to replace an old fabric shower curtain that a guest ruined:( Although this is made of polyester it is thin and cheap to the feel, more like a vinyl curtain that you could get at Dollar Tree. It comes with cheap plastic hooks but I wanted to retain my nicer, double-sided nickel brushed hooks. The grommets fit on some of the hooks but not on others even though all the hooks are the same size. I didn't want to force them on too hard because it felt as if the curtain was going to tear if I did. I don't doubt it wouldn't make it through the wash cycle either. If you're looking for a cheap shower curtain you can get them for less elsewhere or spend a little more for a much better quality.

Okay, so I read the reviews that said the holes were small, but still thought it'd be fine because I'm using very slender/stainless S hook type rings anyway. Wrong! There's a reason they include their rings, because the holes are so small no standard size rings would ever fit!! And unfortunately, the rings they include are a cheap ugly plastic that I can't imagine anyone would want to use. Really too bad as the curtain itself seems to be decent quality, especially for the money. We ended up using it as a drop cloth. So yeah, my fault for ignoring the other reviewers but I still expect better from Amazon.

The grey curtain is true to it's color, which could be a good or a bad thing. Some reviews said it was more grey than tan, but I would disagree. It is a very warm tone color rather then the cool grey I have throughout my house (including my grey paint color). If you like the color pictured than this is for you, otherwise I would suggest searching for a different shade of grey.

Some of the bad reviews on this thing are so weird, it's like they were expecting something woven out of Egyptian cotton and the rings to be cast from stone. It's a 20 dollar shower curtain set lol, it's fine. The curtain itself isn't a fabric, it's more of a lightweight plastic material. Looks very nice in the restroom, that's all I need. I'm not compelled to feel on my shower curtain everytime I walk in there, so if it looks nice then I'm set. I heard someone say something about the hook holes. These are the same sized holes I've seen in almost every other shower curtain, and the hooks fit fine. All in all, I'm not saying people's needs won't vary. What I am saying, is that Amazon basics is literally just that, and if you need something fancier than this might not be for you. For me, it looks nice, and works. 5 stars

It's a nice curtain liner for the money. However, the metal grommets are really small (1/4-3/8"). I have curtain holders with the small balls on the end and the grommets are so small I can't slip the curtain onto the holders. I have never had this problems with dozen of curtain and or liners over the years. If they were to put normal sized grommets I would give this 5 stars.

If you were expecting this liner to resemble "fabric", you will be sorely disappointed. It feels rather stiff and is not at all soft and flowy, like other fabric shower curtain liners I have bought. In addition, the hole of the metal grommet is on the small side, and when I tried to hang the liner on the "Premium Quality Double-hook Polished Nickel Rollerball Shower Hooks" I purchased with this liner, the ball was bigger than some of the grommets and actually dislodged two grommets. TRUST ME - YOU WILL REGRET BUYING THIS ITEM. Good luck with your shopping.
