I initially bought this because my bathroom is pretty dark and I wanted to be able to see in the shower, but didn’t want only a clear curtain. When it arrived, I was shocked at how thin it was. As I was hanging it up, I was convinced I wasn’t going to keep it. However, the bathroom in our apartment is poorly ventilated and always seems damp. I have been fighting to prevent an overgrowth of serratia marcescens (pink slime bacteria) in the shower which leaves my bathroom smelling weird. This lightweight shower curtain dries much more quickly than my old one, and I can tell just by the lack of smell in my apartment that it’s helping to manage the moisture situation well. The liner was much darker in person than the photo shows; it's more like a dark forest green to me - but honestly that was even better as I prefer that color.
