Moved into a new home. Didn't want to put holes in my walls or woodwork to install traditional curtain rods. Used traditional tension rods for my 6' wide double windows. They worked, but sagged in the middle. Style of windows did not allow for adhesive support hooks in the middle. Rods & curtain tended to fall if anyone brushed against them. Really wanted to love this rod because of it's end cups shape, But: Not a brushed nickel finish, looks more like painted with a little brushed texture to look more like nickel, but not really. Right out of the box there was discoloration on one end of the rod, dark spot - as pictured proofs the finish poor quality. I'm disappointed. Although it's functional overall- does the job, can hold the curtain up, easy to set-up, fits and adjusts well, it's just not there in overall quality. Bit thinner and smaller diameter rod than my previous metal rod and even louder if wiggegled a little up and down.. I'll keep my old ugly rod for now (that is just all scratched and ugly dated). Probably should have got something more expensive I'll keep looking. ... show more
