Blends in pretty well except for the โ€œamazon basicsโ€ logo that is on the bottom side, comes with a way to mounted / tied to surfaces. Only complaint is that closing it sometimes requires a little of force to get it perfect (due to the padded inside some items have to go in certain directions).

    • Great travel case/safe for declared 'unloaded firearm' in checked baggage in the US!

I bought the large size safe and this is perfect for a S&W 638, small box of 10 rounds of .38spl +p, and a speedloader for traveling through airlines in the US. I make sure my little snubbie is unloaded and that all ten rounds are in a business card Pelican case inside this locked case. The large case will also hold one speedloader (make sure that's not loaded though when flying - keep all rounds in the little Pelican case (also sold on Amazon). No issues what so ever. Sometimes I'm asked to open the case to prove my 'declared unloaded firearm' is unloaded, others have not asked. This case does not have the TSA lock, but a 'declared unloaded firearm' locked case does not have to have a TSA lock on it. Although be prepared to have your checked bag searched every time you travel - at least I do. I keep all the pamphlets they give me every time they check my bag in a mesh zipped pocket in my checked luggage as a keepsake and to let them know they weren't the first ones to have to check my bag. The short - great little locked case for traveling with a firearm in checked luggage in the US. I can't discuss the larger sized ones, but like I said, the LARGE fits a 2" snubbie with shrouded hammer, one speed loader and a small box of 10 rounds of .38spl +p. The box is sturdy, solid, and perfectly sized for a snubnose. It doesn't take up too much extra room in my checked bag. Oh, make sure your firearm and ammo are legal on both travel ends too! ... show more
