    • Excellent Lock...But...
This lock is built extremely well and the fit and finish were excellent. It was a perfect fit for my Grand Design Reflection. I installed it in under 10 minutes and th only hiccup I had was when programming the code. I wasn't paying attention to where I was pushing on the keypad as I didn't realize that the each number had its own button under it. I "assumed" that the 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 &6, 7 & 8 were just 4 buttons. Once I realized that was not the case, it programed first try (operator error). Pairing the key fob remote was a breeze. My only criticism is that if you lock the upper lock (not the dead bolt) with the key from the outside, you cannot open the door from the inside, which to me is a safety issue. I would prefer to see the inside latch override the key lock and allow the door to open from the inside. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say. I do like that the key fobs have the ability to control 2 locks if I decide to put a second RVLock on my bedroom door at some point. Time will tell how long it holds up, but with a lifetime warranty, you can rest easy. ... show more

We have a 2022 Palomino Puma Unleashed 383DSS fifth wheel toy hauler that has two doors, and we replaced one of the door’s handles with this RV Lock. My husband had it changed out in five minutes with no issues. We will likely take it back off and put some silicone around the edges to make a waterproof seal to the door, but we’re already talking about buying a second to change out the 2nd door’s handle. Can we order a 2nd one now and have it keyed the same as the 1st? Very happy about this purchase, the door latches so easily and seems very secure with the full steel construction. ... show more

Having been locked out of my 5th wheel RV by my 3yr old son, a keyless entry was a priority. I searched around the other brands, although this may not be the cheapest available, I am very satisfied. Extremely easy install, literally removed original lock and this popped right in. Didn't need to make any adjustments for proper fit either. Programing a code and the fobs are also extremely simple, took about a minute for two codes and two fobs. Locks and unlocks effortlessly. Well built, heavy duty latch, looking forward to many years of use. I would absolutely recommend as an upgrade to the standard RV latch. ... show more

I waited until i used the lock for a little while before writing this review. As this is our home away from home, we use the lock every day. So far we love it. It's nice to go for a walk and not take the keys; hit the button and done.The lock was very easy and quick to install. It took just as much time to remove the old lock as it did to put the new one in. Followed instructions and prompts from the lock and entered the new code, easy. Next, time to pair the remotes. Followed the instructions, pushed a couple buttons, done. The lock even talks to you and walks you through it. The lock is of excellent construction and materials. The only problem is now I have to get my son in law one! ... show more

I did my research on this product before purchasing to be sure I ordered the correct version and got great input from other users. They all really liked the unit, any issues they did have were quickly handled and all of them recommended it fully. My installation process was reasonably quick. I did have to trim the opening in the door in a couple place just to allow the unit to go in easier. I did this with a Dremel tool and a sanding drum. It was super easy. I was very careful not to do anything that would prevent me from putting the factory lock set back in the rig if we ever needed too. It fits very nicely in the door, the programming is very easy and all in all, the whole process went very smoothly. We have used this RV Lock on two trips since installation and have found it to be extremely handy and it works very well. ... show more

This bugger is heavy. It was a bit snug fitting into the vacated door handle opening. I had to manipulate it a bit more than expected but nothing major. Program was easy. Push a button and follow verbal commands. The keys are odd and most likely only available from the manufacturer. I would rather have extra keys than more fobs (just me). Time will tell. This thing is solid and time will tell. Nice having a 100 year warranty. Registration was easy. QR code scan and presto, done. Packaging is more inline with a high end watch or something. The lock is heavy and parts are solid and fit well. After a 1.5 hour install it will be a welcome addition to our Winnebago Minnie TT. The unit came with two of the four mounting posts for the lock untapped for the included screws. I managed to partially tap threads into both but the last screw stopped about a 1/16 of an inch short of cinching up against the inside plate and broke off. I had to pull out and easyout the broken screw, retap the post and find a finely threaded tapered black screw to complete the install. How two posts were missed for threading seems to indicate QC was lacking That said, I am pleased with the functionality and solid build of the lock. ... show more

    • Version 4.5 was delivered, instructions slightly different.
I installed this RV electric door lock on my 2021 Little Guy Max camper. The fit and finish is superior to the camper’s original equipment and everything worked perfectly out of the box. This is a newer model so instead of beeps you get voice announcements during set up and it took me a minute to figure out how to pair the key fobs. It appears to have a pretty good water seal, but I added a thin bead of clear sealant anyway. I expect this lock to remain in service for a long time. ... show more
