I got this for my camper because we often camp with family and people come and go from the campsite frequently, they need to be able to get in if they don't have a spare key. This lock only locks the deadbolt when the keyless system is used, so make sure to leave the top lock unlocked if you need to use keyless entry. Build quality is great, it fees very sturdy and everything installed smoothly. You may need to adjust the fit and the strike plate but installation took 5 minutes. I don't use the wireless fobs, to me that seems like a pointless bonus because if I had my keychain on me I wouldn't need keyless entry! But maybe it's just a "why not" bonus, some people use them. I also like that this uses laser cut keys instead of traditional RV door keys. It's not like my camper is a fortress, the extra 5 minutes it would take a thief to pick this isn't going to help when they can just force the cargo door open with a screwdriver and climb in, but I like the fact that people can't just easily order a master key for this lock and walk in looking like they belong. So once again, pros are: - Excellent sturdy build quality - Key system doesn't have an easy-to-find master key - Keyless entry plus 2 wireless fobs if needed Cons: - Price, but only comparing this to OEM locks; compare this to other keyless entry locks and it's not a huge markup but is definitely higher quality - I bought this 2 weeks before Amazon day and coulda saved 32% :( - Only comes in black, maybe? Not sure if this is worth being a con, the only RV door lock colors I've ever seen are white and black and black looks fine on a white door so who really cares?

10000/10 would recommend!!! This lock is AMAZING!!! We have a 2024 Forest River Aurora bumper pull. I'd had this lock in my Amazon cart for quite a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. I was initially skeptical because the price seemed a little expensive for 'just a door lock', but it is absolutely hands down worth every single penny. First of all, I was able to un-install my old lock and install the new one in less than 20 minutes by myself without my husband thanks to the instructions which were extremely simple and straightforward. Second of all, programming the fobs was a literal breeze, took all of 2 minutes, tops. Again, very clear and simple instructions. Third, this lock is smooth as butter, my door shuts and opens easier than my original handle and lock that came standard on the camper. This lock is heavy duty, very well made, easy to install, and a dream come true with the key fobs. If you've been considering buying this lock, stop hesitating, I promise you it is worth it ten times over!!!

I love this lock! Our previous RV lock broke, and my husband was not happy about replacing it. The install was actually very easy and fast. I love being able to open the door with the remote, or the code. My husband really loves it now he doesn’t have to worry about keeping up with a door key when we’re off riding bicycles.

Excellent purchase. This RV door handle replacement was a good upgrade. After replacing the existing door handle with this battery-operated unit and following the programming instructions, the lock assembly worked very well. The handle assembly looks and fits as described, with no issues during installation. The key fobs made it easy to unlock and lock the door from a few feet away. The lock is very durable; once activated, the door is not easily opened until you deactivate the unlock mode.

I really like this lock. It’s made out of metal and appears to be quality. And I also really like the remotes. So much better than the regular key lock. There are also numbers on the keypad and they are positive and tactile. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that only the deadbolt gets locked/unlocked and not the regular door lock. I understand the difficulty of having both locks activated, but I would’ve like that added function. The installation was a no a brainer, very easy. Overall, I’m very glad I got the electronic lock. I should have bought this a long time ago.

Very nice product. Our original door locks' membrane peeled away so I replaced it with this one. Electronics work better than the original. Easy install. Less than 5 minutes. I'm a happy camper (no pun intended).

This RV door lock is great quality. I really enjoy the flexibility of key, code, or remote use. It allows for different choices in certain situations. I THOUGHT about removing one star for one gripe I have, but perhaps the company can make improvements in future models. My gripe is that the remote has raised buttons. Not a huge deal, however when you have the remote in your pocket, you’re constantly clicking the buttons by accident. This can be avoided if you wear a lanyard rather than placing the key in your pocket. Other than one issue, so far I have had nothing but good experiences with this lock. It’s a quality build, and works well every time. Would recommend and would buy again. East of installation, keyless entry, ease of use, fast.
