We have this in a room with high ceilings which affects its cooling ability but that being said, this is able to cool of our area very well. I would recommend! Yes it’s a little noisy but oh well....it keeps you cool.

It cools, it is not ugly, it makes my home a better place. I always swear I'll never get an new place without central AC, but I did it again. I love where live. Put one of these in my room another in my daughters, and one in the living room - problem solved. No regrets!

This air conditioner stopped working in less than a month of having it. It was very loud, which we were prepared for from other reviews, but it was way louder than we expected. It ran really well the first two weeks and cooled the room down quickly. But after the two weeks it stopped blowing cold air. The loud noise has stopped and only the fan is working. I followed all of the recommended trouble shooting steps and nothing worked. I called the tech support and they said if it gets too hot outside it may not work. She said the temperature for it to work correctly is between 64-90 degrees. This is a bummer to find out. Although it's only been around 80 degrees when it stopped working. They offered to replace it or issue a refund if we return it. We decided to return it.

The brown shipping box is all there is between your item and everything else being shipped. The top where the weight of other boxes being stacked (it's too heavy for anything else than a bottom ship) was too much for the weak styrofoam to withstand. Because the quality of the box itself is poor, the oversized window adapter piece was cracked. That piece is extremely important if you purchased this for a sliding window. The strength of that portion is vital for adding a plug to keep the piece from sliding downward in a vertical position. Clear backing tape can fix this issue but it is a band aid for something rather important. Purchased two. Both had some damage but one had damage to the motor and did not function properly. Amazon is working with us to refund it and picked up the heavy box for free. The unit itself has a good design that makes it look smaller than it is, has a back that allows an "S" curve to bend further in at the top, making it a little easier to get a little closer to the wall. Its ability for cooling large spaces is exceptional with its high capacity fan and high BTU. Still learning all of the features which seem pretty loaded for the price. It's cooling capacity is fantastic and has a very powerful motor, not the quietest but works for me. I will say, that since purchasing these, I found the same product under two other brand names but I doubt I'd find any of them. If these are to be continued (and I highly recommend Amazon do so) strengthen packaging by using a higher quality cardboard with stronger styrofoam. While waiting for this to arrive the weather cooled but...now that we have them, we seem to be going into more 105+ degree weather so....awesome for that! Oh yeah...shipping took a little long in my opinion but we have understand the high demand and the unusual circumstances of 2020. Overall, surprised by the quality and happy I canceled the Delonghi and got the Amazon Basics. Saved enough that purchasing two wasn't as painful as the last time we did that. :)

had to wait a while, when it arrived the plastic parts that connect it to the hose and the window screen were broken. Got on a chat with product support and they said that I could not get a replacement part, only return the whole 75lb unit or get a refund and return it. Then they could not replace it because the unit was out of stock. had to super glue a brand new item to make it workable! it now works and it is great.
