+After oral surgery, the surgeon gave me a bottle of Cepacol, but recommended going on amazon and trying their version because it's actually superior! (Amazon's version contains more Cetylpyridinium chloride antiseptic than Cepacol) Granted that everyone has different taste buds; my taste buds loathed the flavor of Cepacol, and weren't pleased with the stinging that followed rinsing. However, they were thrilled with the similar-to-rootbeer flavored Amazon Basics oral rinse, which didn't sting when it hit tender tissue, as Cepacol did. I think it's fine, it doesn't sting your mouth when used, rather it's the reverse, it tastes sweet and tempts you to swallow a bit, (which I haven't) but if it's doing the job for fighting gingivitis and killing a few germs along the way, it's a painless and rather tasty way to do so.

Less burning than Crest's version of Cetylpyridinium Chloride. However, the formulation has a lot of undissolved blue coloring, leaving bits/blotches in the sink that requires rinsing off immediately. Also turns teeth blue temporarily (the bottle has warnings, but it's really jarring to see it).

I have tried alot of brands of mouthwash, some expensive ones and some dollar store ones. My search is over, this Is the one I like the most. It comes in a huge bottle. I tried it and it has a great taste, not overpowering strong, but strong enough to get the job done. It tastes expensive, but it isn't.
