It was easy and straightforward to assemble. The height is pretty easy to adjust. The only issues is that my butt doesn’t fully fit on it. I’m a size L/XL female. It would definitely be a better fit for a smaller and medium butt. Overall, good quality for the price.

Overall, I wanted to like this chair. It is the perfect height for a work bench or lab bench. It is easy to assemble and both chair and foot rest heights are easy to adjust. The issue I have with it (as others have commented) is that the back is set too close to the seat cushion and is not designed to be adjustable. I can (and probably will) add a stack of washers to move it out a 1/2 inch or so, but it would be a much better chair if it was designed with the back further out, or (ideally) if the back position was adjustable. ... show more

The chair went together just fine. However the lever for raising/lowering the seat does absolutely nothing. It moves maybe 1/4" up and down and applied absolutely no pressure to the hydraulic lift. The seat tilts down, so don't bother sitting on it in any fabrics that are at all slick - I was wearing basketball sorts and slid right off. Don't bother buying this chair if you actually need to sit in it or raise and lower the seat. ... show more
