After numerous e-mails and communication with this seller, still was mislead. I will fully explain this to you in my review of this very fine gold cross. Explanation: It very clearly explains in the description that, you are guaranteed a min of 7.5 grams of 14k gold in this item. If you read the sellers answer to the questions ask about the weight of this item, the seller clearly says more than once, the crosses average 8.5 grams in weight. Right there clearly for you to read. The questions and answers are right below the official description of this item My aggravation is, I have officially weighed ( on a certified and calibrated scale ) the 14K Gold Cross that I purchased, IT WEIGHED EXACTLY 7.1 grams. That's a far difference from a guaranteed weight of 7.5 grams. When comes to gold, that's a big difference. Now the SELLER says in answering a question about the weight, AN AVERAGE OF 8.5 grams. That's a tremendous difference. Free lesson: 14K gold has actually 58.3% pure gold in it. 18K gold has approx. 75% pure gold in it. 24K gold is pure as you can get, .9999 Gold........................ As far as the item itself, I would give it 5 stars for its craftsmanship, quality and its beauty in its design, size. It is most assuredly a fine quality piece of work. I'm just a little perturbed about the promised weight that I paid for and DID NOT receive. As I told you previously, I communicated with this seller for approx. a week before buying this item. 625 dollars is a big purchase and investment for me.
