I loved this mat at first because it solved my issue of tracking litter. I’ve tried 3 types of litter but yet my cat always leaves some litter behind. I was sweeping the area every day after work. This mat solved the issue by catching the litter and dust. HOWEVER, this went on successfully for about a week til my cat discovered it was fun for him to play with…yes cats get bored and want to entertain themselves. But I still think it could’ve been made to last through pet play. My cat doesn’t even have claw access bc I put claw caps on him. He uses his teeth to rip this up. It shouldn’t be so easy to tear apart, he’s not rough with it. Luckily he doesn’t have interest in eating it but be warned if your pet does. So now instead of daily litter cleanup , it is chunks of rug every day lol. ... show more
