I have been looking for airtight container for a while and no other brand really offer this variety and quality at this price. Sometimes it's a tiny bit difficult to close the lid but it works fine honestly. Water splashes around (especially from the lids) when I try to hand-wash them so I usually put them in the dishwasher. Once again, I love that it offers various sizes and it's perfect for many food storage scenarios. Keep in mind that it doesn't completely seal the smell. It is definitely airtight because I tested with water and no leakage at all. But things like onions still make the fridge smell. Internet says this happens with any airtight container due to particles going through the plastic. So this one is great, I absolutely recommend

I decided to change from plastic to glass for storage of food and reheating of food since I learned plastics have Parabens that are no good for human consumption. I was not disappointed with the seal of the lids and the tight closure. The glass is not that thick but is of good quality. And glass is much healthier for your health than any platic is. The price was also very reasonable.

I haven't even washed these containers yet, but I'm sure they're fine. They are similar to the ones I've owned that have slowly disappeared. I'm contemplating even knocking the review down to 3 stars, just because of the styrofoam. It's the kind that pills up and disintegrates the moment you touch it. I will find more of it in the coming months even though I'm about to vacuum with the ferocity of 1000 vacuums. I feel about this styrofoam the we most of us parents feel about things like glitter. Christmas tree needles. Rota virus vomit and poo. Pet hair. We get rid of it, and it magically reappears like you never picked it up and threw it away. These are all things that are vile and unholy, yet companies insist on keeping them around. Just, find something else more ecologically sound and less gross and messy.

After years and years of a drawer full of those cheap, thin plastic storage containers made by Glad or other disposable brands, items you probably shouldn't put in the microwave, I love these glass containers instead. I was so happy to throw out my old ones. They are quite durable (very thick glass) and look a lot classier than the cheap, plastic containers. Contrary to what others have commented, the lids on the ones I received all fit perfectly and snap snuggly into place, even after running them through the dishwasher a few times. I did have a problem with my initial shipment in that it arrived with some of the containers shattered but Amazon graciously replaced them immediately and I had my new ones 2 days later. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I received the box on time, and one of the big circular containers was missing a piece that snaps it shut, and the glass was chipped. Everything else was fine, so I reported it and they said to keep what I had and they would send me a new one. A week or two later, I received another set and nothing was broken or has broken since. They seal perfectly fine, it keeps our food fresh. I highly recommend these containers, just keep in mind I bought these around Christmas, and they were on sale at the time.
