I’ve had the Amazon Basics Furniture-Style Cat Tree with Litter Box Enclosure for a couple of weeks now, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my cats (and myself). I have two indoor cats—one older and one younger—and I was looking for something that combined functionality with style. This piece has delivered on both. First off, the furniture-style design is a huge win. Unlike some cat trees that look bulky or clash with home décor, this one blends in nicely with my living room. It has a clean, modern look, and most guests don’t even realize it doubles as part of my cats’ play and bathroom setup until I point it out. The litter box enclosure is fantastic. It hides the litter tray completely while still giving my cats easy access. I like that the enclosure has ventilation so odors don’t build up, and cleaning is straightforward since the doors open wide. It also keeps the area looking neat, which is a huge improvement over having a litter box out in the open. The scratching posts and sisal pad have been getting daily use. My younger cat, in particular, loves stretching and sharpening her claws on them, which has thankfully reduced the amount of scratching she does on my couch. The sisal is tightly wrapped and feels durable—I expect it to hold up well. The cozy perch and hammock are the clear favorites in the house. My older cat spends most afternoons lounging in the hammock, while the younger one prefers the elevated perch where she can keep an eye on everything happening around her. Both spots look comfortable and sturdy enough to handle daily use. Assembly was relatively straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I was able to put it together in about an hour by myself. All the parts lined up correctly, and once assembled, the structure felt very stable—no wobbling, even with both cats jumping on it at the same time. Overall, this cat tree has been a game changer in terms of keeping my cats entertained, giving them a designated scratching space, and making the litter box less of an eyesore. It’s practical, sturdy, and stylish—all at a reasonable price point. If you’re a cat owner looking for a multi-functional piece that serves both you and your pets, I highly recommend it.

Pros: • Overall, the tower was easy and intuitive to assemble. • My cats (of varying heights and weights) have been able to use all spaces and components of the tower - even during the assembly process. • The tower has maintained most of its sturdiness after several months of cat usage. Cons: • Parts Q and R weren't labeled - but they were easy to distinguish from the instruction diagram. • Panel E didn't have clear instructions from page 14 -16 regarding how the initial assembly (on page 14) would be oriented during the second phase of assembly on page 16. • The base of the rotating balls broke when I was attempting to tighten it, and had to be glued into place.

This is the first cat tree I've owned. I have been very happy with the quality and construction of the unit. It went together easily, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. All parts/hardware was present and sorted for ease. The faux wood is pleasant enough, and it matches some IKEA shelving I have in the same room. The unit is heavy and isn't the easiest to move, which is great since I was concerned about stability with my cats jumping off of it. It doesn't move at all. The integrated storage unit (how we use it instead of for a litter box) has been great to store cat toys, etc, stuff that didn't have its own spot before. My cats (three of them) were very wary at first, though that might just be how cats are. It took two weeks before I actually saw one sitting in the top basket. I set it up next to where we have the cat food, and it's been great for my older cat whose jumping isn't as good as it used to be. She now hops the levels of the cat tree then up to the space where the food is. She's also become fond of the top cat bed. For some reason none of them like the basket style bed, and I haven't see any of them playing with the toy or scratching the pole. I'm hoping with more redirection they'll eventually prefer it to my furniture. My cats give it five out of five toe beans. They have become quite the fans of their cat tree, especially since it keeps them high enough to maintain their feelings of superiority over our puppy.

I really like that this looks more like a cabinet on the bottom instead of the usual open cubby setup you see with cat trees. It blends right in with the rest of our furniture, so unless you know, you wouldn’t even realize it’s meant for cats. We’re not using it for a litter box at all—the enclosed space works perfectly as a little hideout, and the cats have already claimed it as their clubhouse. The top perch is wide enough for them to stretch out and nap, and the scratching posts are getting plenty of use. It’s sturdy, easy to clean around, and doesn’t look out of place in the room. Honestly, I like that I can enjoy the look of a nice cabinet while they enjoy having their own little fort inside.

Your cats will love this thing, it is very sturdy and safe for them to play on as well as a good value for the money. I like the fact that it came right to my door and all I had to do was some simple assembly which was not hard at all. The surface is nice and smooth and kinda plastic like so clean up is a breeze with a handy wipe. The cats love climbing all around this thing and will sleep on it too. I am impressed that it doesn't take up a huge amount of space yet is a great deal of entertainment. The upright portions are all covered in rope for claws to grip and the flat surfaces are soft with Sherpa cloth that's removable to toss in the washing machine, as I shown in the pictures this is a nice structure that comes well packed without damage and a great value.
