I saw these ran small so I sized up. Unfortunately when I got them, they were still a bit too small. I should have went up two sizes instead of one. Lesson learned. The material seems to be of good quality though. The length was nice as well. If I had got the right size I feel like these would have been a very comfortable, long lasting short.

I am a fan of Volcom shorts. I had a pair that were similar to these, and they lasted a LONG time. When it was time to replace them, I found these on Amazon. The cut/fit is perfect, the material is very nice, and they are so comfortable with the stretch. I am glad that they do not stretch at the waist because I can wear my shorts without a belt. Quite possibly the perfect pair of shorts. I am very happy with my purchase, and I just ordered a second pair in a different color!

5’10”. 160 lbs. 30”/31” waist. Purchased two pairs with 30” waist. Very happy with these shorts. Good quality material and good fit. I like a slim fit, and find it pretty hard to find shorts that are a good fit. Either too long/short, or too baggy/tight. These are pretty spot-on in both respects. I either wear a 30” waist or a 31” waist. These run slightly big, so I found the 30” perfect for me. Ideally, I’d like them to be 1/2”+ narrower through the leg, and maybe a 1/2-inch shorter. But that’s pretty much splitting hairs. So I ran them through the wash in hot water and dried them with extra-high heat one time, and they tightened up to be just about perfect. Great price. Great shorts. Highly recommend. Would love to see them in a powder blue, please.

These shorts also have all the features you need for a day in the sun. They have pockets (duh), a zipper fly (double duh), and a stylish design that says "I'm casual, but I still care about my appearance." Of course, like any product, there are some downsides. For one, the sizing can be a bit tricky, so make sure you double-check the size chart before ordering. And while the stretchiness is great, it does mean that the shorts can sometimes ride up a bit when you're moving around a lot. Overall, though, these shorts are a summer must-have.
