I purchased this crate when I was in a pinch. I was looking for something to house my pit baby. I purchased the 48'' it's a good size for him. I ordered it on 8/6. Delivered on 8/11. It took 5 days for shipping. Upon arrival. The box was still securely intact. I took it out of the box and I was able to assemble by my self. Very easy to assemble. My Kong crate mat fit perfectly. Included was a divider. It must be a design flaw because it's not feasible to use. You have to remove the divider to get access to other dog. There's only 1 door. No biggie, I'm only housing 1 dog and if I choose to house the other dog they can go in there together as this cage is huge. My only problem is that upon the 1st night of housing him he was able to break the cage wire in the back. I included the picture. So if you have a cage biter it may break. I don't know how he broke it. The latch is a slide latch. It worked perfectly. My dog can't open the door. The older crate I had a different type of latch and dog was able to use paw to open. Also included was tray and handle. Why include 1 handle for this big cage? Needs 2 if using the handle. Hopefully dog can't bend any more bars. Otherwise this is a great crate for the price.

I wanted a crate bug enough for my chihuahua terrier mix to be able to stand up. She loves to stand up on her hind legs idk, she's funny. So I bought this one so she would have enough room to move around and I got 2 dishes that attach to the side panel, perfect for water and meals. She has her pillow and blanket. She seems to like it, she goes in there by herself when the door is open. Easy to put together, once I read the instructions lol. Easy to clean. I would buy it again.

Bought one initially for my pup, and two days in realized I needed another. I definitely recommend the two door crate just because you have more options for placement. It is kind of painful to travel with, it’s not heavy just bulky, so yes, I bought a third for when we travel to my parents home. It folds up nice and flat and slides under the bed so it stores really well. I love the spring loaded lick, it’s easy to open one handed, and was really excited to find it came with a divider too. I have a fourth crate in my office, which came from a big box store, and though it was the same price, the amazon crate blows it out of the water! If/when I eventually start sizing up in the crates, I will definitely be buying the dual door amazon model!

The only thing dumb about this kennel is the said divider that comes with it, if you try to divide the kennel to half it for two dogs, you'd have to push one dog in then place divider without being able to use either latched gate for said dog. Real let down. Who wants to travel and split their dogs but have to remove the first dog with through the end gate(door) then remove the divider then take second dog out? Other than that it's a very good quality kennel, the gate matches are so easy to use and the material that the kennel is made of is stronger/heavier gauge than the brand you get from Walmart. My Jack Russell bent and warped the Walmart brand but not this one from Amazon. The tray that goes in the bottom catches accidents and vomit so it wont get on your carpet or truck. seat. Overall we like it an d so do our two dogs. It sits perfect in the back seat of our pickup, we use the seat belts to strap it in. The center gate is easy to access from driver or passenger seats and the side gate opens to the passenger back door to remove the dogs or access them.

I was skeptical about an Amazon basics product (sorry Amazon, just more of a name brand gal for certain things) however we have been extremely happy with this crate. Once we assembled it the first time - how it folds and unfolds - now it’s a breeze. It fits her well, we have a bed that perfectly fits the bottom. The door is very easy to open and close. It’s quiet (she also doesn’t move around alot in it.). Once you figure out the fold/unfold it’s really easy to manage. We bought 2 (due to its size - one for home and one for when we go places as it’s huge, but so is our dog). Even as large as it is- it’s not difficult to handle. Good job Amazon!

This is a great crate for the most reasonable price around. I got the 42" for my German Shepherd and it gives her plenty of room to move around. It is built solid and everything locks into place well. UPS dinged the packaging which bent one of the ends; making everything difficult to slide into place. Once deployed with all the walls locked into place the crate is extremely solid. My GSD actually uses the side to scratch her rump hard several times a day and it has never "wobbled". The door latch is spring loaded so opening and closing it is extremely easy. It also comes with a handle should you want to move a crate this big while it is opened. I would recommend this crate to anyone looking for a good solid crate with free shipping for the best price I could find after searching for a couple hours.

I have a 80lb pit, German Shepard, lab mix. This cage gives him plenty of room. Easy slide out tray for cleaning. It folds easily. Good value for the price. This cage is much more cost effective then purchasing it in the store, especially if you do not like standing in lines. I'd recommend this cage.
