If you're using this for lightweight items then it's perfect. I'm using it for heavy items and am worried that it might not be a good fit for my purpose. It's made well, but being felt it can stretch and give. Plus side, huge plus to me was the fact the wood handles come out and it can lie flat for shipping, then easily be replaced. It is as described and received promptly. It does seem a bit pricey, but right now everything is, so I'm not sure if it would cost less during less chaotic times. ... show more

I bought this because the measurements fit where I needed it. I saw more than a thousand ratings with overall rating of 4+ stars, and I was foolish to not read some reviews. It isn't worth the time it took to place the order, nor the time it took to send it back. It's flimsy and it is a REAL stretch calling this thing a basket. I knew it was a felt type material and that was fine. I have some felt drawer dividers/organizers and those are rigid. This felt is NOT rigid, nor is it sturdy. Those wooden handles DO NOT fit like shown; they can go on the inside or on the outside but will not fit on the top rim. The space left is far too small to get even one finger around the handle-- which doesn't really matter because the stupid handles slide right out of the loops that supposedly hold them on. COMPLETE FAIL ... show more

Similar to a felt/wool fabric but it is soft, thick material that holds its shape but sides are giving with any pressure. Depending on position of handles they can be fitted or loose, your choice.(for fitted just adjust the lip of the fabric underneath the handles) or you could also position handles and permanently affix them with a glue or threading. I planned to use this as a gift basket and I will probably add a board to the bottom for more structure just in case. I love it, it looks very nice and well made. ... show more
