This rug is crazy soft, and it looks nice enough for use in most casual settings, even though it's not quite as full or fluffy or thick as the photos in the listing. It's really thin and light, so light that at first we had trouble constantly tripping over it. It worked much better after we put it between a couple of chairs, so that there's something holding it in place. It's too thin to offer much padding between your feet and the floor, so I feel better using it on carpet than directly on hardwood. The beige color is close to being a deep cream or off-white, so it goes well with nearly any room decor. I had been anticipating a slightly darker color that wouldn't show dirt quite as easily, which also affected where it made sense to use the rug. Washing turned out just fine though - I washed it by itself on a cold delicate cycle, and it came through like a champ with minimal shedding. If I had to choose between a thicker, denser rug, and a rug that I can easily fit into the washing machine, this one wins every time.

This faux fur rug is incredibly soft and fluffy. I absolutely love the texture. It has that plush faux fur feel with a slightly shaggy, longer pile, but surprisingly it hasn’t shed at all. My cat is obsessed with it and has basically been living on it since I took it out, which I think says a lot about how cozy it is. I also really appreciate that it’s washable for easy cleaning, though I haven’t needed to wash it yet. I’ll update once I do. The round shape is a great size and fits perfectly under our sectional. Overall, it feels like great quality for the price, and I’m very happy with the value. I would definitely recommend it.

I've never really had much experience with shaggy rugs past maybe walking over someone else's in their home, but now I have one and I really like it! The quality of the carpet feels fantastic, it's so soft- too soft. My child keeps wrapping herself in it and rolling around in it, which is hilarious. She loves it so much. The hardest part of having it is when she gets her bandages stuck in it or small toy accessories lost in it- the surface area is so high for sticky adhesives to latch onto, or little things get lost in the fluff easily. I made the silly mistake of shaking it out to find a few small beads just to send them flying and having to track down where they landed. If I could change anything about this rug, I would make the fluffy fabric a little shorter and add more padding to the base, but past that? It's really good! And the best part? Machine. Washable. It's going to get messy, being around a kid that wraps herself in it all the time, so it's great that I can throw it in the washer as necessary.
