This far, I have not had any issues that anyone else has had. It works. The power source/plug does buzz when on, so that's concerning, but no flicker, smell, or heat. Lamp itself never really heats up. I though I had a problem a few weeks into using it because it was extremely dim. But I held the power button and realized that there is a brightness option. Hold the power button to see. I read the instructions when I got it,so if that info was in there, my brain didn't retain it. Works great for desk, I use it for hobbies. Lights them up well. It's a nice bright lamp, but the touch controls are not very responsive. I have to repeatedly press the power button, to turn the lamp on or off. The same thing happens when I press the M button to switch between modes. Cheap construction. Seems the unit is not lined up with the button controls.

Lamp is used by our 1st grader son, for his desk, the only thing is the lack of knowing if you have pressed the timer function, so there is no way to know if the lamp will actually turn off in the time... and I always tend to forget, so we have always made sure we turn it off... so we are not sure if it works... yet. It looks great on his white IKEA desk ... show more

This ALL white desk/task LED, dimmer, timer, goose neck lamp is PERFECT for my white desk and white laptop. However, Im using it on my entry console table which is also white. Since the walls are white too, the white power cord and electric plug in, make everything match/fit. I have looked and waited for the beautiful, does everything lamp and this fits the bill. It is larger than I expected but it could easily work as a night stand lamp/reading light, short "wall washer" or table lamp. It is versatile, modern and elegant anywhere. The on/off center touch switch is also the dimmer. On the left side is an M (touch switch), so you can choose yellow white or white white. The right side touch switch is the timer. Even though it looks like an adjustable mic stand, it is too cool for words and I completely recommend it. Brilliant design. I plan on buying more. ... show more
