I have a 9 year old GSP and she loves to lay on the porch and watch the birds and squirrels in the yard. I think this is a lot more comfortable for her than laying on the hard floor and keeps her cool in the hot weather because the air can move all around it. I'm considering getting another one for my other dog. Great quality and great price! (My cat loves it too. If the dog isn't on it, then the cat is!) ... show more

Medium is a good size for a goat! Love!!! I buy these beds for my goats. With my last one I bought, it didn’t screw together and basically just fell apart anytime I have to move it, which is daily. Moral of the story, hate that one and will be replacing it with this one. This one screws together perfectly, did it by myself in 5-10 minutes. Goat loves it! The goat that uses it is a Pygmy/ND mix and fits with extra room, and my Boer mix would fit perfectly. This bed in medium is also the same size as the XL made by another brand, so pay attention to measurements when shopping these! ... show more

I have purchase six of these elevated dog beds, over the years for my two Siberian Huskies, who are now one years old. They love the beds. I love the beds, but I've always had the exact same issue. I never thought to write a review before, until now. The bed is easy to assemble, it looks good, you can easily move it, and the sleep quality is good. However, durability is the area that do not hold up for me. All of the parts are metal, except for the two parts that are plastic. It is the two plastic parts that never stayed in placec and always became a chew toy. If perhaps, those two parts were metal instead of plastic, I don't think I would be writing this review 6 elevated beds later. ... show more

This elevated cooling pet bed is excellent quality, for the price. This is actually my second one. The first lasted 4 years outside in the Texas heat, rain, and even a little snow/ice (rare for TX, but it happens). That’s pretty impressive considering other brands I’ve tried cost twice as much and don’t last any longer than this one did. The bed is pretty solid but will slid around a little if the dog launches himself off of it. And yes over the years the wind has picked it up a few times. If the wind is going to be over 40mph I put it in the garage so I don't need to fetch it from the neighbors yard. The color lasted pretty well with only a little fading mostly just dirt. I clean it with the hose when I scub the patio once or twice a year. Our 75lb dog loves his patio bed, so when the old one finally gave out, I had to get him a new one. The updated version has a slightly different design. This one uses a 5mm allen wrench (included), while my older one used a 9mm. Assembly is basically the same, easy and straightforward. It does come with instructions, and they’re actually good ones. I didn’t need them since I’ve built a handful of these, but if it’s your first time, you’ll have it unboxed and together in 15 minutes. The hardest part might be keeping your dog off it while you build it (mine was so excited I had to put him inside just to take pictures.) One small downside: the paint coating on this newer version doesn’t seem as tough. It already had a few deep scratches just from putting it together. But overall, still a solid bed at a great price, and most importantly, my dog loves his outside bed to chill and watch for birds and to make sure the squirrels never come into the yard. ... show more

Loved this product! Just wish my golden retriever had as well. Looked very durable. She is 110lbs so we purchased the XL, and honestly could have used a smaller size. It's bigger than you think. Seemed sturdy (my husband laid on the bed with her, held them both fine with plenty of room), but she just didn't like it. If your dog likes this type of bed it's great quality for the money. I guess Darla just prefers her old bed on the floor. We tried putting the old bed on top of the new bed but after a couple months just resolved that she was not gonna use it.     • Good quality. Just loosen the screws, as needed, so that you can put it together properly.

A bit of a pain to put together but only because it gets more difficult as you add pieces on. The overall process is simple but it's best to loosen the screws a bit once you get to the final corner. Tightening them all completely gives you no "play". It's also best to put it together outside or in an area where you have plenty of room to spread out and work. Don't do what I did with the first one (I ordered a 2-pak of these beds) and then tried to put it together in the middle of my tiny living room. Take it outside or somewhere where you have room to spread out and loosen those screws, as needed, so it goes together a bit easier. ... show more
