I needed some knives for a horror movie I'm filming. I don't want people to die but I love making movies about it. I needed a block of knives that weren't good chef's knives but that we could use to film. They look GREAT on camera!!! Not the best for cooking if you're a chef but you already know that. They came sharp and even made the "shink!" sound when pulled out. If you actually care about good knives, get good knives. These are fine as a movie prop.

I bought these for a second house that we don’t plan on having for long. I’m used to what I consider to be quality knives, and I expected these to be obviously cheap. They are surprisingly good! The paring knife and vegetable knife are super sharp, and the carving knife performed awesomely at Thanksgiving dinner. I’m assuming they won’t hold an edge well, but sharpening them shouldn’t be a big deal. The bread knife is pretty awful - I needed to cut a stale loaf to make a bread pudding, and it ripped the bread more than cutting it…but that’s my only complaint. It looks okay with everything in the wooden block - nobody is going to mistake it for a posh set of knives, but it’s compact and tidy. The knives lift out almost vertically (my other set is much more angled), and it’s a bit of a challenge if you put the block under cabinets - you have to tilt the block to get the longer knives out. Overall I’m very happy with this set, especially at this price point.

I love the price of these. They're very basic, run-of-the-mill knives, but the product is well made. I needed a new set of knives on a budget (my old dull ones weren't very practical) and these showed up on my page. Very nice product for the price, allowed me to get a new set of knives on a budget

Knives work great; however, the scissor stopped working soon after purchasing. They constantly were squeaking and getting stuck. I assumed it just needed some grease, but to my surprise, they were actually rusted and deteriorating on the inside.
