These batteries meet my need perfectly. I bought an audio cassette player some months ago at my Mom's request. The AC/DC Plug adapter it came with started to fray so that it was unusable. I remembered the unit could accept 'C' cell batteries, ordered some, and installed them. My Mom is overjoyed that she can now listen to her old Gospel tapes that had been gathering dust for ages. She uses it constantly, around the clock at full volume. So far there has been no slowing or rundown from the first set of batteries I installed. She loves the portability and convenience these offer.

My first order of Amazon batteries and I'm impressed! I use C batteries in all of my Luminara candles and I just replaced all of them last night. I honestly believe the candles shine brighter than with the name brand I've been using for years! A nice + was the price was absolutely reasonable. Now getting ready to reorder along with AA rechargeables for my outdoor patio lights. I have used in other applications, but haven't really used long enough to comment on longevity. If I have a problem with that I'll update my review!

I bought these batteries primarily for children's toys, as well as the occasional flashlight. When they were purchased, for $14, it was a great deal. At the time of this writing/review, 4 months later, they are up to $25+ which is mind boggling! I'm sure glad I bought them when I did! I have noticed all battery types have increased 40-100% in just a short time span. Thank you inflation, and those responsible! AAARRRGGGHHH! So far they seem to be holding up pretty well with the half dozen used so far. Should they take a dump earlier than expected I will update this review (if it gets posted).

I got one of those electronic candles so that i could always have a candle lit without the risk of fire. Two of these batteries lasted 3 weeks so apart from avoiding risk of fire from lit candles, i am saving TONS of money because i don't have to keep buying actual candles. I'm a happy camper. :-D

I use daily a portable radio that takes five "C" batteries. I have used Duracell Copper tops for years as they always outshine most batteries. A few months ago when Amazon offered these batteries at a much better price than the Duracells, I bought them. Surprisingly they have lasted way longer than any previous battery. In fact, my radio identifies the remaining charge in the batteries and when the Duracells went to one bar, the radio was on life support. I have been using this radio now for weeks with one bar and even sometimes zero bars and the radio plays perfectly. Is this a fluke ? Good question .

great batts, I buy C, D, 9's and AAA as price good, and they last. Amz brags about packaging being good for environment. well, yes, the outside box is, but WHY oh WHY are the batteries then shrink wrapped in plastic????? very hard to get out of the plastic, wasteful and NOT good for the environment. these could easily be shipped in a cardboard 'egg crate' or cardboard slots as other brands do, instead of the miserable plastic. fix this!
